It was obvious that Hwasin prolly didn't care about that game, on that map and just wanted to hurry up and get on to the next game. So he 'ended' it quick, letting Bisu have the V. Besides, Klaz and the guy that posted a little bit after him both said that even though Hwasin blocked, Bisu prolly woulda thought he was going FE or MM strat or something fishy, since he didn't block in either of the 2 previous games. How many times have Terran ruined a Protoss plans for a strat? Protoss has to adapt and roll w/ it. Terrans have many a time floated an ebay or rack to a Protoss main to see that he had a robo fac and citadel, templar archives made - suspecting a DT-drop.. Protoss just has to go w/ it and expand and try to harass w/ the DT-drop doing as much damage as they can. AGAIN! There were tons of ways that game and that part of the game could have been prevented. Instead of letting the probe to continue to linger there, he could have had the SCV that was building the rack to halt production, scurry in front of it and kill the probe. OR he could have used 2 scvs to block the ramp and kill the probe when it arrived. He was using one, but the probe chased it off by micro.. He could have sent one more scv to kill the probe and would have been just fine, after his wall was completed and prolly could have won the game by surprise by the Bio-rush. I think maybe it was becuase Hwasin was the underdog in that match.. 'cause like Mani said, no one complained when Boxer did it, they prolly cheered him and it was prolly shown on a highlight reel of the week or something.. It all goes to player favoritism.. if Boxer does it.. it's art.. if a Protoss does something 'spectacular'... it's cheese.. | ||

Firstly out of the three races - I like Terran the least(though obviously i love boxer, oov etc). I always prefer it when they lose. I always feel bad for toss cause i think they have a hard time vs Terran so I like to see Toss win. Secondly I fully support audacious strategies. I like it when players go for risky stuff because it makes the game more fun to watch. be it boxer, nada or bisu. In that game it was actually Hwasin who was being the more audacious. He went for a crazy strategy, and I was annoyed that it was defeated not properly but by a probe jump. It would have been a much better game if he had been able to rush and if Bisu had defended it properly. Again he blocked his ramp, he didn't think bisu would be able to get past yet he did and it changed the game entirely. The irony is that bisu himself claims it wasn't intentional and was luck, which makes it all the more sad that the game was decided by the "probe jump." I agree that opinions on this depend on players and circumstance. If the terran had been boxer and the toss been some unknown player or maybe even a minorly known player like chalrenge, more people would probably had agreed than disagreed with me. Such is the passion of starcraft. Again the fact that Hwasin was the underdog, the fact that he was trying the more audacious move and the fact that he was scouted not because he was unprepared but because the wall he built didn't work like it was meant to all added to my sense of injustice. Lastly despite my outburst, I don't have anything against Bisu. As you can see from game 5. But this is starcraft, it wouldn't be the same if we all didn't love it as much as we do and were not as passionate about it. I'm not asking you to agree with me. You have your opinion and I had mine. I'm just trying to explain why I felt how I did. | ||

On the probe jump, I agree it made for a lousy game because it was luck, but when I first saw it I thought it was definitely on purpose. Which to me makes it seem a little unfair that you complain in the first commentary Bisu is too standard, and not creative enough. However, I suspect from this point forward, Protoss players will be looking for that SCV building a wall to stray too far, and take advantage of it purposely. It is definitely a redoable phenomenon, similar almost to a pylon jump over larger walls. Anyway, they were GGs and I definitely favour your passionate commentary over one with no emotion that just casted the game. Don't change. | ||

I still think Bisu lost because he was surely too arrogant. How damn could he expend when Flash tries everything -2scv !- blocking the ramp ? I mean, a pgm like him, after his -cheating :p- victory against Hwasin should anticipate a move like that. I've re-watched the replay, I mean it is so arrogant to expend when he doesn't know and what Flash is going on inside. Maybe he thought he was only playing a kid... | ||
