legit caster commentary: Doesn't Matter: Remember when SC2 only had you start with 6 workers? The game was so boring back then took like 4 minutes for something to happen. Artosis: I know right. I still have to cast Brood War games, and they only start with 4 workers. Add to that games on Island Maps. Doesn't Matter: Sucks to be you. If you don't like casting the ASL then don't. For some people the ASL is the only sporting event they enjoy. | ||

Can always check in at random times to see if they are casting BW. I have no clue what the plan is, maybe they'll cast some here and there. Will have to wait and see for now. | ||

To be fair, Tastosis have told everyone frequently on the GSL streams to tune into ASL - that was the reason I (SC2 fan) even started to tune into ASL. | ||

They say the same thing about the GSL at the end of every ASL cast. Its because they are paid to mostly. I am glad that you have an open mind and were willing to learn something new. Hope you are enjoying the ASL. I used to play SCII, even got 3rd platium during WOL. Every expansion the game got worse, too many new units and BS. This isn't a twenty year celebration of StarCraft. The 19th year celebration for example is what this should be. | ||

I think it's fine to be bitter that a StarCraft anniversary event starts off with a long StarCraft II block. But just keep in mind that jumping in with a one-liner that just says "I hate this" isn't the posting standard we want to see at TeamLiquid.net. There are plenty of ways to express yourself that aren't low-effort or clearly leading to/escalating a fight. Also, it's fine to be unhappy with the invited players. Just don't cross any lines of decency/manners or turn it into attacks against the players. | ||
