I wonder, are you guys still playing versus Koreans? I play and get games instantly (always Koreans), but it seems people who aren't in NA are having more trouble maybe? Would be curious if maybe Blizzard changed match making for other servers to not get Koreans as easily?

1.20.8 has arrived. This patch was focused on dynamic turn rate and updated friend commands.

Specific Changes & Improvements

Matchmaking games now have dynamic turn rate reduction if the client determines high latency. The turn rate will start with 16 and scale down appropriately. We expect this to make a positive impact on latency for matchmaking, and we are very excited to be rolling it out.

/friends commands have been updated
/f l (or list) Shows all Brood War friends plus all Blizzard friends who are currently in SCR
/f la (or list all) Shows all friends (BW + Blizzard, regardless of whether they are in SCR or not)
/f lb (or listBlizzard) Shows all Blizzard friends (no Brood War friends) regardless of whether they are in SCR or not
/f lo (or listOnline) Shows all friends (BW + Blizzard who are in SCR) who are currently online

Updated the SD option for bilinear to be a slider. Sliding to the left increases sharpness, sliding to the right increases the intensity of the filter.

Slightly reduced the size of the Replay UI center console

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where users would sometimes see a blank page on the post matchmaking toast screen.

Portraits in chat now update immediately when changed for friends and non-friend users

is the lowest TR playable on ladder technically 4? so if you are like in antarctica or something and play against someone in.... guetamala, will it go to 4?

does /W work now? and /F M?
and does the ladder still give ghost wins/losses? I assume it still doesnt count right because it is not in the patch notes
would like to have a command that resets my account's stats to 0-0 (global stats) since its messed up (so i keep my icons and my account^^) also waiting for ladder reset when fixed or smtg

Not only do i still get opponents who disc on me, the discs never get settled and give me my points, and count as if *I* have disced, double, the actual amount.

A more realistic example would be a European playing against a Korean and with current telecommunications infrastructure the latency is roughly 270-300 milliseconds between the two points. I'd imagine TR4 is the only setting that would be playable.

I don't have any issues when opponents disc I get the points. I see the same on every stream I watch (which is about 5-6).
