In most countries, where military service is obligatory, there is also an alternative for pacifists, religious people, or whoever doesn't want to serve due to whatever reason. Alternative service means that instead of wearing combat boots and shooting all day long, you do some usual full-time 9-17 job for the government, e.g. yardman, teacher, attendant, repair worker, carpenter, you name it. You stay at home instead of living in a barraks (or, if you are sent to some other city, in a hostel, provided by the government). You have a salary, you have free weekend, holidays, etc. etc., but it's also almost twice as long (1yr9m compared to just 1yr of military in my country). That's, at least, how it works here, in Russia. I just know that there IS alternative civil service in South Korea, and IIRC one of our forum members is/has been serving alternatively. And my alternative service begins Summer, 2018. Yes, and even from there you aren't allowed to stream. Fantasy is in civil service, he might be playing but he is not allowed to stream. I guess it has to do with something in the military penal code due to security, etc.
That's interesting. I know that Polt (sc2 player) is able to stream and he's in the military. Wonder why he's allowed but others aren't.

Alternative civil office -> disabled or sick people only.
They cant stream or have other job which makes money.
But only someone who have economic problem, then government approve it.

Yesterday Stork's streaming, Stork said that AI amde by facebook will participate in this match.

Because Polt isn't in the military. He's actually in the Civil Service, and so doesn't have the same restrictions as military personnel does. Fantasy and I believe Hydra are also in the Civil Service.
Polt also got special permission from his superiors to be able to stream.
