This is not going to be Deep Blue vs. Kasparov the first time, and it's definitely not going to be Deep Blue vs. Kasparov the second time. It's going to be a face stomp yawn manner nexus style beat down, as long as Stork plays really safe because most of what these bots do is cheese or at least some form of early aggression. They don't even maynard properly every time...if it gets to a macro game of any persuasion they will fall apart. I say this with all respect to the developers...their job is incredibly difficult, and I believe they'll reach their goal of a competitive AI, eventually. But they might have been a little less ambitious and started farther down the ladder with someone like IdrA or Ret or Brat_ok, all of whom would still facestomp them, but at least the humiliation wouldn't be as public. | ||
