Anybody who hasn't made it into the ro16? surely that means it will be dominated by the likes of JyJ or Eros_byul or any other new pros that haven't made a huge name for themselves yet, but are still good enough to qualify. I hope this is restricted to people who haven't been in ASL before, i like seeing a few new players given an opportunity

The only restrictions are towards people who have made it to the top16 of the ASL before / former pros (those being ppl who have played in OSL / MSL / Proleague)
so yes, Byul can very well compete and win again (he won the previous edition); JyJ, however, can't

No, eon won game 1 on FS with a hydra bust and beat a center 2 gate in game 2. His second opponent is another protoss, wico' fresh (이경재).
