PGR21.com poster found a cable TV advertiser rate schedule for the month of May... There's an "OSL Remastered" listed in OnGameNet's schedule. I don't know what being listed on an advertiser calendar means in terms of locking down programming, but it at least seems like they're considering it?
Holy... If this happens, I don't know what to do with myself.
OGN made an announcement regarding the "OSL" acronym/brand, but it's been re-purposed for their new "OGN Super League" starting in May, which appears to be a developmental league for titles they deem to have esports growth potential (Autochess, Tekken, Puyopuyo have been announced as their initial trial titles with more to come).
Blizzard is releasing announcer packs for StarCraft: Remastered, featuring a trio of top announcers from the Brood War days: Jeon Yong Jun, Kim Jung Min, and Uhm Jae Gyeong.
what. the. fuck.
what's the point of this again?
This is amazing news, what's the issue?
how is this amazing again? Like for real.. how does this help the game in any way?
No Kim Carrier? That was the most recognizable voice of KeSPA era, how they didn't include it... It's not bad but we got ton of things to do, no 2v2 ladder still and they start pushing micro transactions? Well, if those bucks will go into pockets of devs and if they will start making more things happen I fully support that!

Haha, none of that money goes into the pockets of the devs, they’re salaried employees. Maybe if their department over performs they get a bonus that’s a small percentage of their salary.

It should increase how much time they get to spent on SC vs War3, though.
