STPL is great, but there is no good place where you can get data, the topic of r & s has no dates, it's hard to find out what's going on (mb there are some dates anywhere but it's hard to find[?]). With BWCL it's different, you enter a page, you choose which week, you have given the date, who with who to whom he played etc.

I agree STPL is a bit harder to find results.

Shouldn't Qikz have some kind of a master data base? Like a big Excel file for all that?

Ye mb he have, but i cant include past games, if i add some event fom ex: 10.10.2018 i cant add any games played before that date, it is (almost)impossible to perform a backward calculation in such a way, I would have to move the whole database back to this match and calculate from the beginning. But the site is not automated, i am adding game by game manualy, entering dates and players one by one.

I don't think qikz has that. I think the production you see on his casts is a nicely hacked set of scripts that just do enough to display the overlays.

Poegim, I really encourage you to decouple the data from the elo ranking. That way you can also graph elo over time.

Have a table with just the player/score/date, and let your algorithm crawl over this table from the beginning of time to now, creating a new table with date/player/elo.

I really like your initiative.

I set up my mySQL database very weirdly to start with so I don't have things like dates as it doesn't record them as games, just numbers. I'm working with Radley at the minute to improve on that since he works with Databases for a living so he's being a huge help to getting that fixed moving forward. Based on everything I've talked about with him I should be able to store everything as matches and games rather than just numbers, I'll need to change all my code but that's fine I don't mind it.

Added PvP feature, you can now check player vs player ratio and games history. Just start entering a nickname in textbox and pick players.

Poegim said he stopped project for now due to losing interest but he may update scores until 2019 R1 in the nearest future and post table with rankings here on TL. So for now somebody can try to make new ranking using

In a few days, I'm going to post here on TL a new thread, to get opinions and discuss about new website portal idea, which would be pretty big project, where foreign elo ranking would be only one of the features. But I may only guess it can take at least half of the year to see the results, after I get green light from community and can start working on it. This gonna also require cooperation from main foreign leagues organisators and some volunteers to help updating content.

ill put it online soon, didnt touch this since october, and spend whole last 4 days on it. There is alot of games to update, im just in middle of january, or smth like it. Finally i rewrited engine so i can ez fix now past games, i can also add past tournaments (hi STPL?) and recalculate it in few minutes (except adding games to list takes a bit longer). Also writing some new features like History highest peaks rank (this is ready, already). I hope i ll finish updating game list in 1 week. Not sure adress will be same becouse of domain cost.
