Shinee 1 base fac T on 7 o clock vs 424 2hatch gas hydra lurk on 11o clock, Shinee completely misreads 424 BO by making 3 vults + going straight for valks while 424 is going for 2 hatch lurk into 3rd hatch on 3rd expo for a macro. lurkers get denied by just 3 vultures with no spider mines. T proceeds into macro and pushes with valk, tank, vultures, while 424s backstab attack is denied by 4 mines. I dont ever remember being zerg playing vs terran, misreading opponent terribad and still win rather easily. T op vs z confirmed | ||

+ Show Spoiler + 3rd game Shinee T @ 7 going 1rax expo into 2 barrack mnm + 2bat bust vs 424 standard 3 hatch play @ 11oclock. Shinee catches 424 almost completely offguard as the moment of his attack has 3 sunkens morphing but far from ready. 424 survives the bust and proceeds into a surprisingly clean victory from there by playing rather standardly and also not letting his opponent go out his base too far. 4th game 1rax expo into fac play by Shinee @ 1oclock vs 424 3 hatch standard play @5 oclock. 424 tries to catch a relatively early 3rd on 6o clock but gets denied by 2 vultures. Shinee builds rather too few turrets and late goliaths and loses vs 424's first 11 mutas so from the games that i watched it's 3-1 for 424 | ||

You mean the huge design changes they have planned? That makes sense. Although for an event like BlizzCon I think it'd be way more hype if they had a BW:HD exhibition. There will be plenty of time to show off SC2 changes in a non-arena format. | ||

I also believe that Jaedong will most likely step away from competitive play, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think his desire for gaming is where it once was. He might be ready to move on after his contract ends. I think he will still play, but not nearly as much as people want him to or suspects him to. | ||

His best career move right now is probably to rake in some serious BW money on Afreeca until he has to do his military service. I'm not sure there is much for him to do otherwise, apart from going back to school or try to land some e-sports gig in a non player role (which is a thin hope to say the least, even for someone like him). Remember that interview with Shuttle where he said that all he could hope for outside of BW is to be a garbage man or something. So he makes as much money as he can right now. Edit: and it's funny to see all these comments "oh he must be bored, he's been playing for so long". It's like you're 17 and never held a real job. No shit JD's bored, but that's not how things work in the real world. You do what you're good at. If you have the potential to be one of the world's top 3 BW players and make serious bank off of that, you do it. | ||
