Guardians are gas expensive and require constant pasturing. They delay/reduce the defilers which can be lethal in ZvT. But watching guardians kill m&m might have some beneficial effects on your personal life  | ||

This a great build that zergs should mix in more. They delay/reduce the defilers which can be lethal in ZvT. The game isn't supposed to make it this far. And if it does, the devastation the guardians cause should allow the transition. I will allow the argument that this build is not viable on all maps. | ||

Since he wiped off most of the army top, he could have sauron zerged him top and kill most of shinees base there. well im not really sure about winning but im pretty sure he had the chance to put himself in a better position taking more bases.(he didnt) and the problem is that is not so easy kill a terran when ultras are dying like lings.I also saw bad control with queens.but fs is such a complex map in late game that u really need to take 6 early bases to win the late game battle.and build a bank ,in that game it wasnt Jaedong case,from units numbers i could tell he was always in low mineral numbers.also his defiler control was bad.but this can be just jd tired ? afterall he played more than 18 games just with shinee. | ||

My experience and bias against using guards is based on the many vods I watched where most of the fails were due to very poor guardian control and defense. Basically every guardian strategy revolves around making them and sending via ctrl+a to kill something which easily gets countered. I have rarely seen scourges sent to defend an expensive group of 5-7 guardians. So, either make them and use the properly or make them and lose. | ||
