Hopefully he finds a way counter this style of play and knowing Flash he probably will. | ||

Yea I think its certainly e recognizable style Mimi has been doing this for years I feel like snow and Rain have a better feel for it in terms of using it to harass and get ahead im the game however the games where flash cleans up or intetcepts the dorps /harass with eaz and rolls over the protoss after are still there so all in all I dont think its like a real meta change. Overall I see flash just not at his top shape while Rain is in his best shape ever curious how the rivalry Will evolve for sure flash vs best/mini/shuttle/Rain/snow is so intersting to tune in | ||

If you understand TvP (and no one understands it better than Flash), you understand all the ways Protoss can mess with Terran with minimal risk. TvP is the hardest matchup until a pretty high level. Protoss can do several things per game that barely set them back but give P a chance to win the game outright. Much of learning TvP is learning how not to die, and even then Terran macro and micro are harder than Protoss at lower levels of play. Only when you get to a pretty high level do things even out. Army control, using Storms, etc., are tougher, but obviously Flash could learn. | ||

I think you are somewhat under-estimating how easy it is for terran players to master the protoss-versus-terran match-up. Last has claimed that his protoss can defeat his terran easily (bullshit extrapolation, but somewhat based on reality since he has defeated terran mains before), and Light's protoss has succesfully defeated terran mains including Flash time and time again. I'll link their most recent encounter below in case you don't believe me. + Show Spoiler + Of course it is a whole different story of being better overall with another race, but the proposition that if we were to clone two versions of Flash, one only focusing on the protoss-versus-terran match-up, and the other only focusing on the terran-versus-protoss match-up, and the end result being that the one that practices protoss-versus-terran eventually coming out on top isn't that ridiculous in my opinion. | ||

This sums up my TvP-experience so well, especially the parts I highlighted. By now I always quit an argument about balance when s.o. just doesn't want to accept those points about low to mid (or even high) level TvP. There might be exceptional cases (on both sides, Protoss having trouble with PvT for some reason), but for 9 out of 10 people it's like this. I'm gonna print that whole post out and put it on my wall. | ||
