SSL10 was originally to be held at Yongsan Esports Stadium from Ro16 onwards and throughout the rest of the competition.
Due to the huge live audience turnout and soaring TV viewership ratings, OGN in collaboration with Sonic have decided to change the venue for the finals of SSL10 to Jamsil Students' Gymnasium.
Date of the finals has also been set to 15th Feb 2015 (Sunday).

Not explicitly mentioned in the article, but since the older BW OSLs and SSLs have those, high chance they will bring 3rd/4th place match back, also unsure if same day or not
This seems slightly silly (in a good way), and looks to me like marketing.
Are you telling me that, despite the fact that even the Afreeca-only SSL9 finals were held in large auditorium that was pretty much full, OGN was initially planning to just hold their finals in the Yongsan E-sports Stadium? Now, when it's back on TV and reaching everyone?! No fricking way am I gonna believe that.
Obviously I'm happy about the "huge turnout and soaring TV viewership ratings", but this was planned from day 1.
Because this happens to lie on an American federal working holiday, I might be able to actually pull the impossible and fly out there. Highly considering it.

If you consider the possibility of the people running OGN (I am being general as possible, I don't know what goes on in the station) may not know much about e-sports, it's definitely believable that BW was brought back in with minimal risks in mind. Great to see it growing back to it's former glory, and this only took one man to bring it all back.

More logical reason:
They may have been hedging their bets on a similar auditorium or something a bit larger for the finals, but the financial backing plus popularity led them to deciding to go with Jamsil as a tried and tested venue.
Didn't like the trailer of this because it remembered me the days of the last bw osl but I don't think he will be there if bisu is not playing ........
That music video is so nostalgic, reminding of the golden days of bw, where progamers were pretty and fangirls many. Im very happy that bw is rising again, hope ssl's will happen one after another with little break time, does anyone know when next tournament gonna be?
dont know when the next one starts, but i think i read somewhere that sonic will have at least 2 more on OGN (could be wrong so don't quote me on this!)

he said that he hopes to have more SSLs on OGN. It depends on how popular this one goes, but from the looks of it, seems that it's been going quite well. Finding an outside sponsor might be an issue, but maybe sonic is cool with sbenu to keep sponsoring them.

God damn that's awesome. I hope there's enough interest from the foreign community that they might do live English casting on-site (I'd sure be interested in doing it once I arrive in Korea in August).

If only i still knew someone at OGN, if they would be wanting on site english casting, i would offer to do it since i'm in Korea for at least the next 5-6 years.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get tickets as a foreigner, and how? I currently live in Japan and I would kill to get a chance to go to the finals.

It seems like you have an easy solution.
Simply arrive at the venue, and kill someone who has tickets
