I am not disappointed in Kespa. It's great. In fact, compared to it's old self it's the best ranking SC has ever seen. I am simply pointing out facts from the ranking that show trends and events in pro SC that I have found very disppointing in the past couple months. Please read that sentence again. You ingored it the last time I wrote it.
We have one toss in the top 10 as far as I'm concerned. Ra could've just as easily dropped 6 spots instead of five. That's my point. It's sad for toss, and is a reflection of the current poor performance of every toss in the world right now, except for Anytime because he's made of magic.

exactly, jju performs extremly well and always manages to qualify for osl/msl. Same for GF, he's always there in osl and last time he even reached the semi-final and lost it against the future champion, wooo what a shame.

Amen! For past 2-3 months I was very distracted by people who hates Jju. Jju deserves his rank, no doubts, and thats why I think KeSPA > DjEtter
What better options are there, Orome? The power rank is fun but you can't call it an "accurate measure of the player's performance" either, so what are we to do but turn to ranking professionals?
Watching the games you get a feel for who's winning more convincingly and losing only close matches (something not included in Kespa) but to have an objective stance you would need to watch all games and not be biased, not just the latter.
The points allocated to each event may be unfair or odd when compared to one another, and Kespa does have its' flaws, but it's still the most objective ranking we've got without actually watching every game played. Right?
I'm not saying anything else is perfect, I'm saying Kespa isn't. It's not that Kespa doesn't take into account how close the games were, it's that the way the points are distributed are inaccurate. Just look at the rankings, it's very obvious they're not too accurate.
I'm curious in the sense that how did SiLvEr rise only two spots with a MSL second place. Like, it's not like they take into account how they get there, other than the players whom he beat. He did take out some big name Tosses and beat the current #3 Kespa, so it seems like he got shafted this month. Not that I like silver or anything, but I was just wondering what happened..
OOv shouldn't get credit for WCG seeing as he just tore through players who were unbelievable shitty compared him. He can't beat people his own size ATM.
