Word from sOoL, the league organizer
Hello, it seems like many people are wondering when the main announcement will come.
I am sorry for not being able to deliver this sooner as we are busy progressing with internal meetings.
Once again, I bring you this news to under Love's ID so that it can reach more people.
T/N: He's using Love's ID on Afreeca but she is not organizing the league, she hasn't even been told the identities of the anon players.
Firstly, many people are wondering about the league's schedule. The league will probably happen after the currently ongoing LOL World Championships and Asian Games are over. Initially, the sponsoring company's idea was to support us around November for the fourth season, but we got a little bit greedy and tried to push it earlier and it turned out to be a bit burdensome to host the league alongside these other sport events. Knowing that many people are waiting to see the league happen soon, I am sorry about further delay. However, please keep in mind that the longer you wait, the more we can prepare and the better the light you'll see us in.
Before the league starts, we are instead going to host weekly event matches. You can expect to see Afreeca BJs and the TBA players fight in team battles or best of matches. We are preparing these fun matches to make sure our viewers don't get bored before the league begins, so please look forward to those and enjoy them.
This has been shared today on Love's Afreeca board after a longer break probably also effected by the Chuseok holiday. There is no further info about the event matches yet, so just be a proper netizen and keep refreshing that TL tab.

Seems like we might know some of TBAs sooner than expected depending on which week these event matches are going to start. Now that I think about it, these event matches will be the mystery players' debut on Afreeca (assuming the matches will be boardcasted there).

Has sOoL shared anything about his/her identity? Although the total purses of LoveTV Seasons 1 and 2 were relatively small, it's very generous of sOoL to be sponsoring these tournaments. I wonder if sOoL is just a successful individual with a BW passion like Sonic, or moreso a representative from a large corporation.

sOoL[WHITE] is definitely a passion guy, you can frequently see him play teamplay with Love on her stream and he's long been one of the masters of the clan so today he's been there in the channel, making calls for the FCL Finals as well. I don't really know anything else about him though, which is a shame and perhaps something to work on (tho given how he's busy now I don't see him answering an interview, maybe later..).

Great to hear an update. I really wish for this tournament to turn out well, and was irrationally scared of it fizzling out somehow. I anticipate the revelation of some TBA pros throughout the upcoming weekends!
