Thirty one players are confirmed as of now and we are still waiting for the final announcement, but the little we were told should cheer up the heart of any Brood War fan: Once everything is prepared, the sixteen ex-progamers who have yet to stream on Afreeca will be announced one by one on a daily basis as a countdown to an offline group selection ceremony (not yet set in stone, a consensus with the players has to be reached as well).
The rest of the tournament is also going to be 100% offline, starting from the round of 32 all the way to the finals. Reserving the right studio is also what's currently causing the "delay" - as the organizer sOoL calls it, despite there never being any set date to begin with. Three commentators will bring you this epic action, two being already confirmed and the third being either an Afreeca BJ or someone else (work in progress).

As for the scale of the league, the prizepool is roughly ten times that of the 9th SonicTV Starleague. This means the organizers will require a Blizzard license to stream the event; sOoL is aware of this and is taking the necessary steps.
The sponsor of the Starleague is yet to be revealed, as is the schedule. Any further questions you may have will probably not be answered as this is all the information released as of now, but feel free to ask anyway~ Welcome to Brood War 3.0!
Note: The $50 000 (50 000 000원) isn't actually $50 000 but $49 118.33; same rounding has been applied to all cash values.
