![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/VoPxpqo.png) Today's update: They're finalizing the schedule with anon players and the offline location was narrowed down to two places - Gangnam stadium and east Sangam stadium. It should take in around 400 ppl. In the meantime, as you have sure noticed, there are the ongoing "sponleague" matches on weekdays 9PM KST. This will give the players time to practice the maps and viewers to get used to them and everyone to give feedback. They did expect to progress more quickly but since it's not just their project, they need to have a lot of meetings with the sponsoring company over all the details, including things like the finals. | ||

 Bisu meets Afreeca goddess Kim EveAfter Bisu started streaming, he was visited by Kim Eve, who's a bit of an Afreeca streaming goddess. She played a bit of BW when she was younger too and was even spotted visiting a regular offline league match before. Here's her BW experience for background, skip if you like, it's nothing impressive: She started since her oppa was a gaming freak, she picked protoss since it's the race to play as a newb chick, but her oppa didn't teach her much, only taught her how to make a gateway and get out goons and zealots, so she did that and kept losing. So she's like, 'Why do I keep losing? I'm doing it as oppa told me.' but then she figures it out - 'I don't have any airforce!', so she gets sairs since they're the cheapest. She moves out but they're not attacking, so she's like - could there be lag? She wouldn't buy carriers since they're expensive.. Then she tried her luck on battlenet, lost 9 in 10 games and decided it's not for her. In their encounter, Kim Eve sends Bisu 500 balloons to say hi. Here's a vid, sadly I can't add subs directly: So a summary: Not knowing much about afreeca yet, but recognizing the name, Bisu received the balloons and exclaimed: "Kim Eve.. Kim Eve, who was that? That's the afreeca granny, isn't it? Isn't that her?" Note: I believe she's over 30. Bisu clearly knows his game and by that, I don't mean Starcraft. Bisu quickly apologized, saying it's his bad, he meant to say she's Afreeca's Kim Taehee, meaning #1 in looks. Before he could take it back, the chat already heated up, lolling at the granny comment. Anyway she played it cool, thanked him for the harsh label that would stick around for a few days and said she just wanted to say hi and that granny will go her way now. Whether there have been any further interactions between the two remains unknown. Perhaps someone valiant enough may set out to explore the creepy realms of fan-fiction and bring back some gold? | ||

Speaking of the military, how does/did the pro-gamers play BW in the military? like how do they do their assigned task (civilian or military gigs) while being able to play and practice? like Air Force ACE or another team? I assume playing for fun was not allowed, unless it was in some permitted context like for ACE? I did a quick search but didn't find much, except GTR mentions something about 20 months, so I don't know if BW participation cuts down on the required military service time? | ||
