Terrran versus Zerg: 51.7% Terran versus Protoss: 49.2% Terran versus Zerg/Protoss: 50.1% Zerg versus Terran: 48.3% Zerg versus Protoss: 57.2% Zerg versus Terran/Protoss: 52.9% Protoss versus Terran: 50.8% Protoss versus Zerg: 42.8% Protoss versus Terrran/Zerg: 47.7% It's an age old problem, it's really hard to balance a certain match-up without fucking up the other match-ups. Once you try fixing the zerg-versus-protoss imbalance, with solutions such as more cost efficient sim city set-ups for the natural expansion, or higher mineral count in the starting positions, you start to exacerbate the imbalance in the terran-versus-zerg match-up. With terran-versus-protoss being the easiest match-up to balance, you then have to decide who to screw over more, protoss, or zerg. Unless we use separate maps for the varying match-ups, I don't think it is possible to salvage both match-ups simultaneously. I personally want terran players to be bottom of the food chain, for once. I want more maps like Aztec. I don't think the terran race as a whole has ever been by far the most screwed over race for prolonged periods of time, for almost the entire existence of the Brood War scene. | ||
