some "trojan" got put into quarantine, files missing can't launch it was working perfectly yesterday EDIT Apparently, two files got put in quarantine. Restoring them helped and it's working now. | ||

- Uncheck these boxes in MCA when you do: Direct Draw Emulation, Color correction, CPU Throttling. - the fix slows the gameplay down for some users. If that's the case for you, just delete it again if it's too bad | ||

Then it is not possible to fix this unless you use the ddraw.dll from Aqrit (Link: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/brood-war/499943-ddraw-fix-by-aqrit), but you have a slight lag in game if you do so and it is not really playable. Thus your only possibility is to play in window mode or install a Virtual Machine with Windows 7. | ||
