thanks for all that's done in this thread to help keep broodwar alive. I wanted to say that first and foremost.
when i go fullscreen on windows 7 and set my monitor to "standard" (4:3) ... it's still a little stretched out. It's not fully widescreen but it's a little more wide than standard aspect.
I play warcraft 3 and the aspect ratio is perfect, hence i don't THINK it's a monitor problem, though I could be wrong. Basically, the black bars on the side are not as thick as they should be, and my display is a bit widened. heard of this before? anything I can mess with?
No big deal. It's totally cosmetic. This launcher has been an absolute blessing the last few years. Thank you for your time!

mine worked when i set my monitor to autofit whatever resolution the cpu outputs.. never had your sort of problem though, only widescreen or perfect...
mca, is there anyway to reliably get the ladder letters on fish to work? (or any channel icons for users for that matter)

I need help! Everytime I download mca64launcher I get "Some files are missing!!!" I honestly don't know which files I'm missing. I've allowed this program through my windows firewall and gave access. Fixed!! Turns out, google chrome was detecting a malware or viruses on some of the plugins. Not buying it though, thanks everyone!

your antivir (antimalware) blocks that program, you must allow it manually in antivir
this happened to me also

So I'm having a little trouble with some lag issues when I actually get into the game. When I'm in the startup menu and Battle.net menus it is perfectly fine but once the game starts there is insane lag. Is there something i should be checking off?

I'd love to stream BW, but for some reason I get stream up for like 2 seconds, then it always fails. Tried to change setups all around and nothing helps, asked a bunch of people to help but could not get it to work. If someone could help with it, would be nice =)
It goes like online -> 2 seconds -> Offline "Streaming on Twitch Failed" -> Reconnect -> online 2 seconds -> Offline, and so on.

Without directdraw emu i'll get the weird text bug where nothing shows on the Battle.net Client.

but still lags? you may try also downgrade graphic card drivers

I have a weird bug at the supply count in the obs mode of mca version 2.0.0.120 (ye I can update, but I do not think it is the version):

wDetector 3.40 is out ; looks like MCA Launcher is using wDetector 3.39. Will you update this?
Or can you help provide us some steps to update that? Thanks.

ive been playing lotv a lot but I want to play some BW from time to time as well! It's been about a year since I played with mcalauncher. I got a couple questions:
1. Did they fix hosting yet or do you have to still manually port forward and have admin on the router?
edit: K just read previous posts, it seems like it's still a bitch to host games and you need to have admin on the router. damnit.

Unless I can get access to the server software(ICCup nor Fish would allow this), hosting will stay this way.
