ToSsGirL is to make an appearance in SonicTV in September. In what role and when exactly is yet to be announced, but after a year of Sonic's relentless efforts she succumbed and found the time in her busy schedule.
While little no details are available, Korean netizens all agree on what needs to happen:
염보지: Make her fight StarCue
가족상봉: HeadSet Rok
로로갓♬: StarCue, unconditionally, gogogogogogo
짬형시: Unless her opponent is StarCue there's no point.
흐름파괴자: go vs StarCue
냉면^^: I'll cautiously look forward to StarCue's confirmation.
PerfectDrum: StarCueㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
They are, of course, referring to the infamous incident which gave StarCue the nickname Headset Zerg:
Next on SonicTV
As for the long expected 10th season of the Sonic Starleague, still little info is available, but we have been assured that it is coming. Sonic shared that the plans are now somewhat finalized but they want to show this season in brand new colors of fun, so he's constantly consulting his staff (and, most certainly, his trusted advisor - Kim Carry).
The second SBENU Superfight will happen during the next week, details will come whenever available.
Starcue played an official game against Tossgirl with his headphones on backwards (ie, the over-ear pieces was inverted out so it was facing outward instead of resting on his ears)

Contact lens that have fake pupils that make their own pupils look larger than they really are.
idk what's the problem, any proper boy's fantasy with tossgirl is in a dark room illuminated only by the faint blue light of the victorious terran gg screen.

Wow, how nervous could you possibly be to have the headset inverted? Like really ....how could you not notice that it is on this way? Would feel and sound completely different lol.

Definitely agree. That's why I don't care about her anymore.
so you were only a fan of her looks and not her game or the fact that she was the best among her females players?
ps she's also beaten flash and other famous players early on in their careers lol.
Nope, it's for the fact that she did something like that to herself.
I know, not that that matters though.
ya, of course. I'm not a fan of the plastic surgery either though it's her choice and as mentioned, pretty popular in KR.
Considering that it's "pretty popular" in Korea(it's been for years now though), it makes it actually worse. Plastic surgery for "beauty" is something that I despise, hence me not caring about Tossgirl anymore.

yep, I get what you're saying though I think being a fan of her play > looks. I never watched her games so can't say much on how good she is.
Idk man, this picture definitively passed the boner test for me and if you have visited the dating thread, you should know that my standard are pretty high.

i don't think that's tossgirl. She never had hair this long iirc. Plus, she would always wear her stx soul uniform in public functions.

Not to mention the fact that dressing up as eye candy is for wallpaper girls, not participants at your event.
There was never really anything great about Tossgirl other than her fame from being a girl gamer. It's strange to me that news of her life after sc2 pops up.
I'm gonna be a negative nancy here. Tossgirl quit StarCraft and retired from progaming to do the "online shopping mall". Now that the online mall is defunct, suddenly, she found time in her "busy schedule" to appear on SonicTV. And why is this news anyhow? Becuz "amagad its a girl"?

I imagine part of it's that, but also she's probably one of the most famous female progamers of all time and not just for her looks imo.

That's kind of condescending to the rest of the forum users...
Besides the replies above, she was an ex bw progamer, why wouldn't news of her return (whatever it entails) be in a bw forum?

Her husband is rich so I doubt she needs the money, she probably just stop bothering with the website after she got married.
And yes people like her because she's a cute girl, not sure why this would be some kind of new revelation

Addendum: a CUTE girl.
Much like how BoxeR was favored by OGN because of his looks, so is Tossgirl.

She was famous because she dominates in every female BW league and iirc the only female to obtain a Kespa progaming license. Although she was the undisputed number 1 female BW player, she wasn't able to compete with the male players.

It was kind of coincidental because JUST when she made into the A-team on STX, it was the LAST round of BW PL. I think if BW were to continue, high chance that she might just become a PL regular.
But just being able to be on the A-team proves you that you are better than 99% of the StarCraft players out there.

The question is more like who da f**k is tossgirl, never ever heard of, a progamer? in what game would that be?
Checked it now on liquipedia:
Not strange i never heard of her since its sc1 and back a few years.
I found something intressting tho in the facts.
"Before 2005, every male StarCraft progamer ToSsGirL beat in a televised match retired."
That says a lot about the koreans view on women i think. This is a worldwide problem tho.
? If you've ever read up or browsed the BW section (even blogs too), you would've heard of tossgirl lol. She did a lot of interviews with progamers like flash, fantasy etc... and is pretty well known. Also, just because they retired doesn't mean it has anything to do with Korean view on women lol.
Wait is someone implying that she was the reason Reach retired? :o Also I do not get the significance SonicTV will she be playing BW or another game again?

Perhaps, she will appear as an interviewer girl after games due to her experience with the actual game.
She might ask A LOT of insight in the game to actually challenge the intellectual reasoning of the players.
Good question. Sonic did some cleaning up on his Afreeca board and this announcement fell victim to it as well. One can always hope but sadly Sonic has been known to announce vague schedule statements and not follow through, like the recently bumped super matches in sonic studio that never happened and many other that went silently under the radar :/
