The Genius Season 1 was a fantastic show; 13 people -- among the colorful cast included korean entertainers, kpop idol, businessmen, poker player, Harvard alum, and Yellow himself -- would contest in a series of strategic games. One person would get eliminated every week until only one person remained at the end of Ep. 12, who won around 70,000 USD.
Surviving each round required not only considerable strategy but also sheer mental memory, wading through politics between the players, and bit of luck. And, the last one standing was + Show Spoiler +
Storm Zerg himself!!! He is truly the bonjwa of event matches -- although some netizens argue that this win finally places a long-deserved crown on Kong

Well, good news; season 2 is coming up in a few weeks! And it is featuring some big names like No Hong Chul (of Infinity Challenge fame). But best of all, both Storm Zerg and Boxer will be in it!!!!
The show, progamers or not, is highly entertaining and well-made, but with two BW legends in it, it has to be one of the most anticipated shows for me EVER. I can't wait to watch these two BW strategic geniuses battle it out in these games. No Hong Chul is also known to be quite cunning so watch out for him too -- and the rest of members still remain shrouded!
Between the blooming SOSPA scene and this show (this would undoubtedly revive some, however small, attention to BW in korea), I feel optimistic about survival of BW, for the first time in a while.
Omg I've been waiting for season 2. TBH I don't know if I like No Hong Chul in the new season, hes too fake in the way he acts and in a competition where he has to blatantly lie and back stab people (which is what he is known for) I think it will be just awkward. Plus hes gonna be the MC/leader like Kim Gu Ra last season so he will stay in the competition for a decent amount of time.
Watched it all. Damn this show, only got 3 hours of sleep yesterday before going to work =/ Anyway, it was really enjoyable and I'm looking forward to season 2. Too bad Sang Min is in there again, he will definitely hunt Yellow.
