I remember one of those short player FPViews they switch to of BeSt saving his workers from storm harrass by sending the left side to one mineral line and the right side to another really fast. Unfortunately can't find the video, but was one of the best examples of multitasking i can think of. Edit- This one works too: | ||

I was considering using that but I don't think the VOD quality would be up to par relative to these FPVOD rips and also I think it is more an exhibition of speed rather than multitasking, as he is doing one task (running probes away) just in the fastest way possible. EDIT: The Hiya VOD is the same case, although impressive nonetheless! | ||

Once toss recognizes the build and figures out that it doesn't involve scourge or lurkers, he can eliminate all kinds of expensive units: he doesn't need corsairs, for instance (except the one scout in the beginning), and he probably doesn't need goons either. That's a lot of money saved, on units and upgrades. Instead, he can pour all his resources into shuttles full of all kinds of goodness (I don't see how zerg can effectively stop shuttle play, without scourge), four fortified bases, and plain old, cheap zealots and DT running around making sure zerg stays on three bases (and has to put down sunkens at two of them). | ||

I'm sure dark archons will be key to eliminate the defilers. Feedback range and maelstrom range is 10 vs 9 of plague. For the rest, zealots, archon and templar and eventually reavers will make up an excellent fighting army against this style. And of course, without scourge, there's nothing to stop protoss from dropping all over the place. | ||
