Yeah I think we should allow people who aren't in round of 16 in SOSPA sanctioned tournament to participate to elevate the level of plays.

The Legacy returns and the competition is stiffer than ever in this final open season.

That means there would not be any other seasons???

Honest-to-god, I may watch this just for Andromeda. Love that map.

Fighting Spirit is older than god, though. I'm pretty sure it can vote and sign up for the Terran army at this point.

Out of curiosity, are there any ex-SC2 but also ex-BW players playing? Like, I know LaLush tried to qualify last season, but we've certainly had quite a few more ex-BWers retire from SC2 since then.

I think we got Naugrim last season and LuckyFool to play with us this season.

I think Andromeda is older than FS, actually. FS just get used a whole lot. I like Andromeda as it was the first map I used to stumble on to iccup. At the time Andromeda was played a fair amount though not as much as Python was and FS would be.

Definitely, FS was released when I first started watching progames and I haven't even heard of Andromeda prior to that.

Setting up the TLS Server: .
Ensure you are running Starcraft: Brood War version 1.16.1
Make sure you have either Chaoslauncher for 1.16.1 or wLauncher installed on your computer.
Download the TLS Plugin for Chaoslauncher 1.16.1. Save this file into the folder containing the Chaoslauncher application; or if you're using wLauncher, save this file in the Plugins subfolder of your wLauncher folder.
Run Chaoslauncher/wLauncher as an administrator. Check the box next to TLS Plugin (1.16.1). Click the start button.
The TLS server will be listed in the Multiplayer screen. You can create an account using the in-game interface.
Make sure that you host your games with #LL or #L2 in title to enable Lan Latency.

Is this really the smartest idea? Using a dead server to run your qualifiers on?

What's wrong with it, it only needs to be used for the duration of the qualifiers, people won't be laddering on it xD

Yes, but it's a good way to lose a couple of participants to play on an otherwise unknown server.

On the other hand, playing on iCCup means that players they've blacklisted can't participate in the tour...

Don't know if that's the only reason for a separate server being used, but it's something to consider anyway.

iCCup doesn't allow tours to be run on their server if ANY of the players in the tournament are banned players. So dotY and so on can't play in TLS, or else TLS has to be run on a different server. Pretty sure that's why Nation Wars moved to Fish.

Yeah, that's what I meant, although my choice of words was a bit clumsy (English is HARD).
Also, Nation Wars moved to Fish because the organizer, LRM)Game, is blacklisted on iCCup.
