What is Hong Jin Ho/ NC Yellow doing these days? Is he on the streets yet?

How many progamers went to college? I've heard that competition for entry-level white collar jobs in South Korea is intensely competitive so I wonder about the job opportunities for the ex-pros outside of streaming and tournaments.

That's shocking. It puts the progamers at a tremendous disadvantage in the South Korean white collar job market unless they are really famous from playing or streaming. I've heard that blue collar jobs are stigmatized in South Korea.
Was it Jangbi who went to work for his family's business after retiring?

Seeing how many of them fare in front of a "camera", be it on stream or at tournaments, seeming quite at ease when being interviewed or when interacting with chat, I feel that many of them have, to a certain degree, a talent for entertainment/show-biz. And in our time (moderate) opportunity in these fields seems abundant. I guess many of those kids that went into progaming seriously as early as in the 2000s are of a certain breed to begin with. Some I couldn't even imagine in a 'normal' job and I wonder if that's what they'd want anyway - but maybe that would be interesting, to think about where you would see ex-progamer X if they had to retire entirely. Larva could run a kindergarten, no prob, and I doubt he'd mind sexist cultural prejudices.
Maybe I'm a bit worried about JD... But he's such a likeable guy, he'd find some good place where he has fun and they treat him nice, 100%.

Was it Jangbi who went to work for his family's business after retiring? its not really a surprise....most professional athletes will be disadvantaged if they go for white collar jobs. if you spend the majority of your youth and adolescence on something that isnt education you are unlikely to be successful in a job that requires some level of education.

The skills that are required for doing media are anathema to the skills of being a physician, engineer, lawyer, accountant. It’s not an innate skill to be an entertainer or be on TV. It's obvious who has these skills and who are still developing it. To host even a straightforward program or show that seems simple, such as ASL or KSL, is not easy. There are so many mechanical media beats that have to be met. You have to get out just when the cable/satellite breaks, you have to know where your cameras are. TV hosts/personalities look like they're doing nothing; they're doing a ton.

That was pretty lame.
- PvP is kinda meh - The 2v2 was too lopsised with a Zerg on Fastest and Best not being able to communicate properly. - And then Flash doing his thing. Flash vs Best might have been a better match imo. - The casting was ok. At least it wasn't unbearable like Rapid+noregret.
I know it's just a showmatch but at least the other TENs were somewhat fun.
