Other players were also seen on ladder before they finish their service, like Bisu and EffOrt. Shuttle should finish his service soon though maybe 2 months or so

So I am thinking... Anyone that played 20+ years ago may remember LC ( Ladder Challenges) channel that was an official Battle.net channel, for the official Blizzard / Bnet ladder. (similar to now). Back 20+ years ago Blizzard had issue with "Winbots" destroying their ladder. People would get a ridiculous amount of wins and it would be impossible to catch up to them. Fast forward 20+ years, now we have the new Blizzard auto match making ladder system, and we still have abusers / cheaters on ladder, take a look at #1, it has been this way for a number of seasons now. How long does it take to ban hackers / ladder abusers?

it's ok. i think discouraging bumping old threads/posts is an archaic idea anyway. Not enough people using BW teamliquid for it to be a significant issue.

We generally don't have an issue with bumping old posts as long as it's relevant, but so many of them end up being ad bots.

I just found out Starcraft 1 had a nintendo 64 version lol. How did that come about? Looking at pictures I found on google, the UI is completely different. Have anyone tried this?

I have watched on Afreeca itself. No lag or stuttering in the vods. Its in korean tho, made me remember the old days when that was all we got

I remember vaguelay that I saw a console-version of SC/BW being played back in the days at a friends house, dunno which system though.

All I remember is that it was a pain in the ass to do anything, lel. Guy even had a mouse you could plug in, iirc.

i STILL remember the id yan[gg]ua because he was top of the 'ladder' with 9999 points for like a thousand umbillion years
edit: and name spoofers that guaranteed a disconnect for both you and your opponent. and you couldn't tell if they were spoofing unless they had changed the color of their name and then you had to type /whereis id in order to make sure the person in your lobby was real. good times. but if the ladder was actually good, we may never had all those private server leagues that were run by people who cared more than whoever the hell was in in charge of official ladder

ROFL no fucking way. i did see him in chat but i don't remember him talking. i do remember a replay getting out of him and i was expecting this monsterballer and he has like 8 dragoons queued in 2 gateways. so funny i remember that id after not thinking about it for so long but bw gets ya like that
im watching bisu's stream, too. it might be the lighting, but i agree.. that right eyebrow is sus. and i was wondering how he was able to micro his sairs off screen so well then i realized it was team melee -.-
