I just got partnership. From now on the moderators I have added to the editor team on twitch can run commercials from the dashboard. From what I understand the money coming in from twitch is rather delayed - being paid out in the last week of the following month. So january payment = last week of february.
In any case this shouldn't matter too much as the SSL8 hasn't started yet - this is where I feel most of the money should go. Either as a direct sponsorship or maybe a 'foreigner favorite' award for each round? Not quite sure yet. Hopefully some of you guys in this thread can give me some good ideas

How to run commercials has been added to the moderator help / FAQ in the OP. Apparently moderators can't run commercials with the /commercial command, they have to use the dashboard.

Well sponsoring tournaments would be the best thing to do imho.

Awesome, congratulations on the partnership!

if you're planning on putting the money back into the BW community, a sponsorship for SSL8 would be awesome! It all depends on how much you make, of course, but I will definitely start running your stream in the background starting tomorrow, no matter what I'm doing.

I don't think a foreigner favorite would be very fair, though. I mean, it would probably mean the same players got money most of the time.

Oooor, TeamLiquid Legacy Starleague, if that's an option :>

I misread the SSL8 part. I guess sponsoring it would be cool, but I kinda feel like we really can't do much there and the thing is that I kinda feel that we need more tournaments here at home aka everywhere, but Korea
