lol @ flash comment
Although he may not be up to par with the top tier sc2 korean players, he's probably already up there.
It's sad to see BW gradually being put to rest, and one of the greatest worries is that when sc:bw comes at a point where it's no longer played, the players quit from the e-sports scene. (Seeing that violet comment about sc2 being boring worries me a little). Hopefully players keep playing and we can get to see our favorite players continue to play for years to come.

I refuse to believe there will be no BW professional leagues at some point. In fact, it's pretty impossible - even if the current scene is forced into SC2, at the very least BW will have its foreign scene, which is currently enjoying quite some tournaments; and I'm convinced many Koreans will continue to organize at least top amateur level events.

We'll see - maybe it's inevitable that something like this would be tried, but what the outcome of the trial would be is unclear. I won't be surprised if BW reappears at professional level in Korea, even after a period of supposed shutdown.

Welp, there goes me, away from this stupidity of a forced scene.

E-Sports, my ass.

Oh come on, it's for e-sports man we should support them bw pro's going to sc2 as you can see even the coaches were having a blast talking about sc2 . I mean I don't mind seeing history repeat itself when this guy dominate the scene and the foreign scene will know where their standing is again after all . Korean dominance sound pretty sweet in my opinion.

SC2 is pretty much Korean dominated, soon them foreigners wont keep up. Seen few threads on SC2 forums whining about Koreans being too good and foreigners getting behind.
You mean ESPORTS isnt a synonym for SC2? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -Proud owner of a Filco Majestouch 2 with Cherry Blue Switches- BW or SC2? Why not both?

While I'm glad some people will still get to enjoy the little that progamers will be capable of showing in SC2, I still feel like if there was no SC2 in the first place, BW would be still strong and we would be able to see more entertaining games of a more entertaining game. This will certainly take more time for me to get over than any breakup. ㅠㅠ

However, let's not forget BW is still out there brethren! Personally I'm excited about the game as ever, there are still numbers of oustanding players and characters I can look up to and a huge thanks for this goes to TL, despite its 'SC2 switch' as well.

If you ever loved the game and not just the drama, now is the time to step up and keep BW strong and alive. Since there will be less and less content, think of this as an opportunity to play more and more. And hopefully we'll see BW live for another 10 years and more. As long as there's one more guy that will play the game, you can count on me as your shabby opponent!

My sincere apologies for the perhaps pathetic emotional outburst, it's the best I could come up with at a time like this.

Anyone have news of Stork?
So par there is confirmed reports of Bisu, Fantasy, Jaedong, Leta, Flash, all playing sc2 but it almost seems like Stork is straying away from it?
As he's one of my favorite toss, I'd love to see him play sc2 rather than playing something like LoL or Dota2 or something along those lines (And I'm not trying to bash either one of those games ^^)

He said on that OSL talk show that he played it for 2 weeks during the break, and that he didn't really understand PvZ or PvP.

I wonder what the ratio of sc2 to bw is for SKT right now, I'm guessing their players that aren't in the OSL are doing mostly sc2 and the others are doing mostly BW for now.

Going to be so weird if the rule that they have to alternate games is true.

So long as the rumored alternating rule turns out to be true, anyone at all who wants to continue to play BW will have to practice some SC2. I seem to remember Stork saying that if it were up to him he'd probably move to LoL rather than SC2, but if Stork wants to continue playing BW he'll have to do SC2.

I wonder what happens when they realize the domestic audience has little interest in the game. Crowd reaction should be amusing.
