I would prefer for the Ace Match to be an Iron Chef competition between the coaches, with a round of Charades for the Super Ace.

I don't think the OSL will mix Sc2 like that. I think that just lean that there will be a OSL BW ( with BW teams )and an OSL Sc2 ( with sc2 teams ^^ )

This is silly too. OGN is never gonna say "THIS IS THE LAST ONE WE'RE DOING" because then if it's a huge success and get a sponsor for another season, they're gonna do that other season and look dishonest. Whether or not there will be another OSL will be based on the success of this one. You can predict that it will go badly if you want, but I like to think it will be super awesome just like it always is

Now, coming from a relatively unbiased point of view, I think this is going to really bring the community together :D
I closely follow both BW and SC2 because both of them have their inherent flaws and their awesome traits.
BW Pros : Ridiculous APM requirements, old school heroes like Bisu and JD, difficult interface, so you know those boys are just clickin and clackin away on those keyboards >: D these two things just make it sooo fucking interesting to watch because you know that pure talent is behind those screens.
BW cons = Eyesore, not saying BW is just unwatchable, but by modern standards, ya -___- Lack of new faces, we all know Flash, JD, Bisu, and the likes are always going to be at the forefront, no room for growth, guys..I love BW because of the incredible talent that is in it, but lets be honest with ourselves as fans, this move is a desperation move, because money and time are running out for our beloved game.
SC2 pros = Gorgeous to watch, all commentary is in English (for the most part), large foreign community with talent and potential, game is still young, strategies and metagame are expanding all the time, the game is already becoming much less deathball dependent, I saw a game with Puma the other day where he was executing double pronged drops and micro'ing them well along with his marine tank push, I was thoroughly impressed, the apm on that is sick, it seems like the true talent and practice is finally showing through,
Sc2 cons = Lack of ridiculously amazing players, the players are getting better....they are, but we dont have any true "Holy shit he is unstoppable" players as of right now, makes it hard to really get behind someone in my opinion. Deathballs, wihle the game is improving and stepping away from these, there is still the dreaded and boring deathballs ...,Mostly in matchups with Protoss is what I observe.
So pretty much, why wouldnt you guys want this? Why must you be "BW fans" or "SC2 fans"? Why not just be "Starcraft fans"? I think this is cool, it might breathe some new life into the BW scene and its starting a more rapid integration in the Korean scene (I'm sure they are hesitant about the change).
SO as STARCRAFT fans lets look at this through some optimism yes?

I don't think most of us even speak from a BW vs SC2 perspective on this one. Most BW fans are ok with KeSPA running an SC2 league as long as there's still a BW one. It's the idea of making it one set bw next one sc2 that doesn't make sense. Do you wanna watch people play Soccer for 45 minutes, and then in the second half play Rugby? Yeah, that'd be pretty dumb even if you like both sports.

Hmmm this seems weird but it would always be better than the complete end of bw. There is a small chance the huge sc2 fanbase would come to appreciate bw.

Why wouldn't we want this? Probably for the same reason basketball fans don't want random badminton matches inserted in between their NBA series. Probably for the same reason a football fan would be really pissed if his team lost because the final score was decided by which team could figure skate better. Probably for the same reason that not too long ago, SC2 fans all got really angry that LoL was delaying their semifinals match or something. I don't think SC2 fans would appreciate it if every other set in GSTL was decided by LoL.

Soooooo weird. You can't mix games like that. I understand the original idea is some peace- and fruitful coexistence of games, but maybe putting them in the same cage is not the best way to do that. If the number of SC2 purists is anywhere close to the number of BW purists, this will worsen the viewing experience for fans of both games. (What am I to do during every other game? :-p)
I have an odd, morbid curiosity about how this will turn out, not entirely unlike watching a car accident unfold.
