Team 8’s BaBy: Keep fighting, Sea!
Within Team 8, there’s a player whose results have fallen far short of expectation: BaBy. Though his round 1 results weren’t good, he’s definitely showing a different face in round 2. BaBy’s revival boosted team 8 to 6th place, where they’re once again dreaming of the post-season.
While facing Last, who has a strong 5-1 TvT record this season, BaBy flaunted his signature wraith play to seal his team’s win. BaBy said, “I’m glad I won, but I’m much more proud that I closed out the match for our team,” adding that “I want to help team 8 reach the post-season.”
Q: You closed out the win. How do you feel? BaBy: I lost a lot of confidence from losing so much earlier in the season, so to win like this great. I think I can play the next match with confidence. I’m confident because we play STX again right away.
Q: It must be disappointing to not perform up to expectations BaBy: Even though I feel like my skill’s steadily increasing from my WeMade days, this season I kept having exceptionally bad luck in the early game and losing. So I practiced against early game rushes over and over, and now I’m confident I can repel those strategies. From now on I’m not going to helplessly lose games.
Q: A lot of people are saying team 8 will do well if its terrans come to life BaBy: It’s true the terrans aren’t doing as well as the other races. However, since in practice our terrans do just as well, I believe our terrans are going to rise up again.
Q: Any words to Sea BaBy: Yum Bosung hyung! Today I stomped an STX terran. Next time show me how you win against an STX terran, too (laughs)
Q: You lost to Last in round 1. BaBy: Actually, before he played me I remember he beat [my ex-teammate] Mind, so I’d gone in wanting to avenge him. I was sorry I couldn’t. Still, it’s a good thing I won today.
Q: Do you keep in touch with your Wemade comrades BaBy: It sucks that both Mind and RorO lost today. I wish them better results in the future. But I trust they’ll do well.
Q: You meet STX again on the 14th. BaBy: Personally, I want to meet a zerg. Since I’ve been practicing with Jaedong and Killer, I feel like I’ve gotten better [at TvZ].
Q: Any last words BaBy: I want to extend this momentum and definitely reach the post-season.

I really wanna see BaBy's late mech. Although he got owned with it the few times he tried to pull it off, I think he's one of the only Ts out there who would be able to do it well...

Baby, baby, baby ohhhh~~~~ Thanks for the translation!

Because they interview the winners after each match it seems they don't do the team interviews anymore, any chances those interviews could be added to these threads in the future?

Thanks for the translation! Is it possible for future reference that you can switch up the title instead of putting up the winning team first I sometimes get spoiled before making it to the small vod thread with these interview titles. Same one with the SKT vs CJ one as well

team 8 may make a late comeback, seem like they are gaining a little momentum

Ah sorry! I actually considered titles spoiling matches so I just title them whatever I feel at the moment, but it's probable I subconsciously always put the winning team first >_< I'll be more conscientious in the future, but also try to anti-spoil yourself by keeping in mind I don't have a set format for titles.

Is DES on drugs?
Baby Round 1: 4-1 Baby Round 2: 2-3
Yes, yes they are. His 3 game loss streak was 2/3 in round 2, so it's more like he started Round 2 poorly, but he's beginning to turn it around. DES, get your facts straight!

A good way to title these interviews is just put the teams in the same order of "who vs who" from the liquibet page. Getting spoiled from these interview translation posts are a 50:50 chance, and pretty much depends on how the reader interperets it(somone will get spoiled no matter what the title is). I hope you keep up the great work jellyfish it is much appreciated.

hmm I'll just mirror whatever the LR thread had. and you're right, some people are going to get "spoiled" regardless =/ still, for the record I'm just going to follow the LR thread for team order. thanks for the feedback!
