the first time i watched the MSL live was during the Ro32 of the ClubDay MSL (before that it was just youtube VODs). I remember downloading the daum player and having to refresh the stream constantly until it wouldnt lag. then I got to see jaedong get bunker rushed 3 games in a row (AND STILL MAKE IT OUT!)
im going to miss the MSL. great maps, great games, and always a good # of upsets that allowed rookies to get some spotlight. I still remember looking at the prelim results for each league and seeing rookies make it through and be flabbergasted about it. "who the fuck is this mensol[zero] kid?" "horang2? what a lame screenname." rofl there was so much confusion the first few months of zero's career on TV where people didn't know if his screenname was mensol or zero.
thanks for all the great times MSL, even if you always fucked up on JD vs flash :\
i remember that fateful night in middle school when i got my first glimpse of professional starcraft. it was one of the early mbc leagues with players like nada and yellow playing.
fastforward to university. i spent so many nights in college watching the MSL... it's was a huge part of my life.
i'll miss it a lot, but i'll never forget the memories.
even though I moved on to sc2 and love it more... I'll always remember MBC Game.. was a part of my childhood really and even to this day I watched the finals and matches.
