Korean's didn't even use phone lines for internet either. Their infrastructure was late and thus much superior. So watcha talking about Rufus? o_O I don't get the jab at the old B.Net because it was much better lmao. Plus, your reference would be to dail-up rather. I cannot even phantom playing like that, but thank God we had so many more ways to actually play the damn game compared to now. | ||

But dial in was modem to modem connection kinda like IP to IP but routing through the phone switches rather than through DNS server IIRC. I remember getting BW in 2000 from my uncle and playing on bnet in like 2002. Proxy gates on a money map without a narrow choke is never fun especially with .5 second 56K lag. | ||
