I use scmDraft in the beginning of a map to get better perspective and symmetry, and later turn to Staredit for the visually design and lastly Starforge for every last detail. I can't see the good thing with creating a map hex by hex, you don't really earn anything from it. The outcome won't become better, maybe if you want to make a perfect symmetrical map but that's not difficult to do in Staredit either. The terrain can look square if you don't choose the exact right hex and it takes an endless amount of time so I very much doubt that Empyrean created a whole map entirely hex by hex. Yeah, yeah we all know that we can do longer and wider bridges now, but there' much more you can do visually with Starforge. Just look at that grass, can't do that with Stareditor. ![]() Hundreds of details that can fit into the screen at the same time. ![]() ![]() Boongee has you sat any time limit on this? My map: Sóora Kingdom v1.0 ![]() And the DL, both melee and ob version: http://rapidshare.de/files/2475267/TL.netCustomMap12.rar.html PS: Starparty, I used your damn perfect gas positions on every main and expansion. BE HAPPY!! ;D very well... but then I did vote for your map before i knew you made it.

The DL link is still the same, (2)Cohesion 1.0.scm I tried making OBs version of it with StarForge but StarCraft doesn't seem to recognize that I set any start locations, besides the ones I put with StarEdit. They're there when I open it with StarEdit, but in StarCraft it's not. Also, when I close StarEdit after opening the map with StarForge start locations, StarEdit has an error.Edit: I figured it out. No players past 2 were on, they were all off. OB:(2)Cohesion 1.0_OB.scm You hjave to set players as "human" and noT "inactive" in player settings. SF automaticly triggers them to inactive if you dont place their startlocations emediately.

Staredit is still far superior in making triggers and all those kind of things. I tried to make one of my newly finished maps into normal melee (always start of doing ob), and the stupid map turns out to be corrupted!! All other betas I'd made were light years behind the finished outlook. Now I've to do everything over again t-T.
