Hyun,Ruby an Midas...thats really bad,I hope the new team gets some real sponsors, really hope they find new teams.
Stx could used those players......
What makes you say such a thing?!? Fanboyism aside, honestly, having more mediocre players wouldn't help STX one bit.
where else can these players go ?
I take offense at the insinuation that STX is a dumping ground for players other teams didn't want. If there's no place for them, that's sad, but both insulting my team's current roster and telling that same team to dish out a lot of cash for players that are unlikely to get playtime even in STX is just low.
Honestly speaking has classic been winning his TvZ now days ? Ruby at least has a strong TvZ win rate and that could help stx in that match up . Midas on the other hand his win rate is over 60% all time in last year proleague . I disagree that you are calling the MIDAS a mediocre player .At least midas was field in more frequently than classics appearance in proleague .
Hyun on the other hand looks like a good ZvP player looking at his record he took down a lot of big names, Stork , Kal and even free .http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=korean&type=players&id=120&part=games&league=standard&vs=P
Does stx have any promising rookie right now ? You lost your protoss ace Kal who was a beast in 2009 but now he is in ace , who else is going to to take up his role . Shuttle ?

I don't care what his record says, Hyun is NOT a good player.
Also being good at ZvP isn't that rare of a talent nowadays...

Wow. I thought the BW players were coming to SC2 when I heard they changed their screens and started a SC2 proleague. Talk about mixed messages from Kespa O_O

Even if that were the case, that would not stop the forming of an 8th team
But wow KT got MIND! There to take up the slack for Flash so he doesn't need to split focus as much and what ForGG was supposed to. The rest of the moves are pretty meh expect Roro, but Khan could use Roro.
The "dream team" could be strong as there will be more players to support JD, but they lost Hiya so imo they aren't that much stronger than the old Oz.

While it's true that Classic plain sucks at TvZ, the STX choice for that matchup is Bogus, not Classic. If a second TvZ-er is desperately needed, then Last has been doing decently enough to warrant playing - it may not be evident from his winrate, but he's been playing pretty damn well, and I wouldn't be surprised if STX would be defined by him and Bogus in the near future. Watch his games to see what I mean. The addition of Midas wouldn't really change much, He's played pretty badly for the last year, and I doubt he would get playtime at all.

Every Zerg in STX is as competent, if not even more competent at ZvP as Hyun. Hyvaa in particular looks as if he's going to be a very dangerous opponent in that matchup. I'm afraid no team needs Hyun at the moment. Tragic too, I like his personality and playstyle a lot.

Last is doing very well, whereas Trap shows some promise. Noone is able to take Kal's role as one of the teams aces for now, that is going to be predictably Bogus every single time for the predictable future. Shuttle varies in form way more than Kal did in that period, but I could see him snipe someone. How is that related though? Just pointing out that STX will have a really hard time next season?

statistically, the best players on STX from last season (excluding winners league) were: bogus: 25 - 13 shuttle: 18-13 calm: 15-15 kal: 14-21 hero: 10-14 classic: 8-11
hyvaa and modesty did not get much playtime last season, but with kal gone STX will definitely be rotating the roster more and hopefully one of them can pick it up. Hyvaa has definitely shown to have great potential, but never pulls it together long enough. modesty is a solid ZvZ sniper and once in a while he can play the game of his life vs kal in the OSL and win and send kal into a slump :\

I am not in any way trying to look down at stx but there is a opportunity to draft in players from other team, stx should take their chance to recruit any potential players that could bolster up their team roster .Calm is a solid zerg and have always be there for stx, however there is a lot of talent pool out there to fish from . I hope stx use these opportunity well maybe even hiring some of those talented rookies that are left out of the draft .
"Alongside the proxy management of the 8th Pro-team, the Association is trying with all its ability to find a sponsor for this team, and plans to allow the creation of a new team as soon as possible, even if in mid-season."
Does this mean that they are hoping for a 9th team also? And how would a 9th team work? Where would they get their players from?

Player base is still huge in Korea and Estro like team is essential because no team with huge sponsor would want to be last.
