Get real people, he's still doing quite well for himself. Yes, not to mention had a relatively easy trip to the finals. In any case those are the exceptions, most of the time he can't even qualify for dual leagues. You sir, are a moron. EVER OSL was arguably the hardest OSL to get into the finals with all the top players in near perfect condition. And he took Oov himself to 5 games. Yeah that's right, same Oov that pisses over Nada in TvT. Well obviously this is great to me, more money for Boxer the better, he deserves it more than anyone. And I believe he's around 25 or so. Give or take a few because of Korean/Western age differential. And yes he can just do civilian work, but that is usually saved for disabled or crippled citizens. Yes, for all except Boxer: Considering in the quarter-finals he had arguably the weakest opponent of the top 8: Sync then for semis he faced his old nemesis Yellow who he beat in 10 minutes. If you can name an easier path to the finals in OSL history please enlighten me.
Man, you're fucking stupid. Sync is known for his TvT and everyone was betting against Boxer. Some even said he wouldn't make it out of his group. And how is Yellow being his old nemesis make it any easier for him? Yellow just got outplayed, pure and simple. Also you still didn't address the fact that he took almost beat Oov which nobody else came close to.
And by the way, because he placed second in that OSL he now holds both titles. Most 1st place and 2nd place finishes in progaming history. So yeah, his dual league participation as of recently is not so great, but you fail to see the overall picture.

His cost of living has to be nearly nothing atm on top of getting a huge sum of money. He'd have to be brainless to not being investing a great deal of this money for the future. I don't think anyone here think's boxer is brainless.
Boxer is a draw and since they are NOT getting paid to play bw. They are getting paid to SELL A PRODUCT! Boxer being the most reconized player means he should get paid the most. The reality is he's not getting the biggest contract if he doesn't play well anyway. Why do you think Elky is still getting a check.

Considering the fact that recently Boxer does not even qualify for OSL not to mention making it out of his group (i.e. last OSL), I would say that "most people" placed a pretty safe bet.
What do you mean no one else came close to beating oov? IIRC Reach in Quarter-Finals came a lot closer than Boxer. Not to mention Boxer does not have the most 1st place finishes in progaming history: in OSL he's tied with garimto and Nada, and overall he is outdone by Nada, not to mention most of Boxer's top 3 finishes were years ago. Maybe you have a different definition of "dominant" than I, but put Boxer vs any top 10 gamer right now, and I'd give anyone at least 50-50 odds vs Boxer, most of them much higher. That's not "dominant" in my view.

Moltke, you are just being retarded now. Sync is boxer's fucking nemesis, throughout the years sync has mostly come out on top.
Yellow EASY?! ADGYFY*I#
They are like 28-25 or something, yeah, REAL fucking easy.
Boxer didn't qualify for the last OSL, that's one.
Boxer qualified into every fucking OSL for like what? 2++ Years straight?
Boxer has won the KPGA, boxer has gotten third, boxer has won a couple of KOK (the MBC variety), boxer has won 2 WCGs, Boxer has won 2 OGN starleagues, BACK TO BACK, boxer has been in 5 finals, boxer came so incredibly fucking close to beating oov - had he scouted oov's hidden CC it would likely have been game - his wraiths turned away one inch out of vision.
Boxer has placed 3rd multiple times in OGN, top 8 even more.
NO ONE has been as consistant as him, EVER.
Go to away.

Nope, Boxer never qualified for the one before his semi-final appearance, Gillette either. Not going to mention the MBCs. Of course yellow is not dominant today either, but yellow is one of the only top gamers left who boxer can go 50:50 against. The manner of Boxer's play just confirms the notion that if Boxer doesn't have the game won in the first 10 minutes, the game goes downhill for him.
Most of the achivements you listed come from 2001-2002, which contradicts your later claim of consistancy. Boxer is probably the most inconsistant player ever, if you want to look at players who are more consistant- either good or bad- you can pretty much list every gamer you can name.
BTW it's interesting that you say going 2:3 vs oov is impressive, while no one says that oov going 3:2 vs boxer is impressive. Just comes to show how oov is the measuring stick here, not Boxer.

Oov was mentioned to say Boxer can butt heads with the *very* best. Oov's skill was not put into quesiton, so he was a valid "measuring stick".

There's a reason for that. And oov sometimes sounds like he's boxer's #1 fan, what else would you expect him to say? Let's look at Boxer's actual performance shall we?

I wasn't talking about anything oov said... you must have misread. Or maybe I did?

Oov's the measuring stick because we're measuring boxer. We can't measure boxer against himself, dumbass.

Funny how when Kingdom or Yellow or Reach > Boxer we don't say wow xxxx is gosu. All we say is T_T Boxer.
Boxer is not a measuring stick because he isn't a top player anymore.

I was gonna respond to this post, I was actually doing it when I realised how much time I would lose answering such blatantly trollish bullshit.

That's because Boxer is more popular than Yellow or Reach, not because we don't think Boxer is good.

Then by your reasoning Boxer's popularity > Yellow or Reach therefore when they beat him it's less impressive than when someone beats oov?
