Starleague 2011 has announced their sponsor, Jin Air, a young airline company. Starleague 2011 will officially take flight with Jin Air from the round of 16 on July 13th opened by a team kill match between Fantasy and Soo.
Jin Air Starleague 2011 will be broadcasted live on OGN every Wednesday and Friday at 7:30.
Jin Air is a subsidiary of Korean Airlines that brands itself as casual and young. JinAir's representative, Shin Sang Wook commented that "Jin Air's slogan, Fly Better Fly, emphasizes innovation and youth. We're happy to be able to sponsor the Starleague, the representative relic of the culture of the younger generation who is filled with passion. We will spend whatever the Starleague needs to be the most amazing tournament that is suited to the dynamic and youthful e-Sports fans."
Furthermore, he added that "Through this, I hope we will be able to communicate with the younger generation, and through vibrant communications we hope that this will be a strong way of letting people know of Jin Air".
Jin Air Starleague 2011's total prize pool is 106,000,000 Won (100,000 USD, with 40,000,000 Won going to the Winner and 20000000 to the runner up. The rest of the prize money is distributed to everyone up to the Top 16.
