In January, there was an article about Flash's arm problems. One part that especially scared fans was when a doctor apparently said that Flash needs to quit gaming to prevent his condition from worsening.
-edit- Whoops, clarification. Flash's arm had apparently started hurting in the 09-10 season, and that's when the doctor told him that.
KT's coach Lee Ji-hoon tweeted today,
"Dragged Flash to the hospital. It's supposed to be a famous place; hope the results are good... Why are so many people sick[T/N: 아파 means something more like "feels pain" but sounds weird when said that way in this sentence] these days?"
Thankfully, he tweeted an hour later that the results show that there's nothing wrong with the bone or tendons(?), and with corrective exercises and rest, his condition will improve.

I mean, if it said the doctor suggests taking a break or doing some rehab or something thats reasonable but quitting, thats just insane.
Either way, I do hope he is able to find a physical therapist or something to make sure his wrist can stay in good condition, I mean he's like 17 or 18 years old theres no way he should quit in the prime of his career making this much money just yet.

When the hell is Flash supposed to get rest? Winner's league is still going on and MSL survivor is coming up. Even when Flash doesn't have games he's still supposed to practice like, 12 hours a day right? Hopefully the KT coach will give Flash some time off.

If he were to quit, he'd probably end up getting hired and paid a shit ton to be a coach, anyway. If KT didn't, SKT definitely would.

Apparently ok kind of goes against what flash was just saying a week ago about it getting worse. Maybe the bone/tendons are ok but I don't think his wrist is feeling good :3

The diagnosis is that he still needs to go through corrective exercises and rest in order to improve his condition. It's not "Flash's wrist condition is perfectly fine" but "Flash's wrist condition is apparently okay" for a reason.

If Flash had to quit progaming for a wrist injury, that would: 1. Be kinda lame (although serious); and 2. Suck for the BW scene.

Violet lost 8kg during his hospital stay, but he was let out of the hospital around two weeks ago. After a little recuperation(?) at home, he has to check back into the hospital.

It would have been completely tragic if Flash had fallen out from the top due to a physical condition. Even people who hate Flash have to agree that it would by sososo much better for ESPORTS if he fell out because other people got better than him rather than him being unable to play like he once did.
Overall, great news! I hope his wrist heals completely and he wins a lot more tournaments. Fighting!

Nice to hear Violet is still doing good and Flash's wrists are healthy. I'm not much of a Flash fan, but it would be a pity if any progamer had to quit gaming because of such a thing :o

Would hate to see Flash suffer life changing permanent injury due to progaming.
Idea situation:
-Non-Flash KT scrubs rise up, ease Flash's PL burden.
-Flash reduce practice hour from 14 per day to 6 per day
-Flash's skill weakens JUST enough for the rest of LeeSsang Taekbang to catch up and play on even ground.
-Starcraft becomes more awesome.
