 SlayerS_`BoxeR`, for the sake of KT Rolster's Violet who is currently in the middle of battling leukemia, has personally decided to come help out himself.
BoxeR, on the 7th, participated in a blood donation event organized by both KT Rolster and KeSPA at Yongsan's iPark Mall.
For the fans that had wanted to help Violet out and but couldn't participate themselves, a blood donation event was prepared for them in front of eSports standing stadium Yongsan iPark Mall, and at this event, BoxeR, along with his Starcraft 2 team junior teammates, visited the blood donation center together at around 6:00 PM.
BoxeR, in order to personally donate blood and who was laying down at his seat with his sleeve rolled up, said, "Even when I was in the army I had never donated blood before, but to be able to help out a junior this way makes me satisfied. If you think about it, to think that someone around us would suddenly fall sick like this is something that you cannot just sit still about," and told us his current state, "In order to build up more skill in Starcraft 2, I've been working more vigorously only on practicing recently."

Although the news about Boxer is a bit offtopic for BW-related news, it's good to hear that he is still involved with the BW scene and is helping out Violet. I think that it's good to report any news about positive movements for Violet, since we should try to be as optimistic as possible for his recovery! With receiving Mantoss's, God Young Ho's, and now the Emperor of Terran's blood, Violet should be an unstoppable force once he makes his recovery. Plus I couldn't resist posting this piece of news since it had the Emperor, aka my fellow birthday sharer involved in it

I saw Kim GaYun tweeting back and forth with KT manager and HOT-Forever (I think, it was one of the kt coaches but i can't remember which) and wondered what it was about, thanks for the translations~

Sure? I didn't see any news about that event though, either that or I'm blind... I don't really go to any Korean SC2 sites, so their event must have happened before KT's event. KT's event is definitely bigger though, since it's Violet's own team organizing it and Boxer participated in it etc.

Wow, I never knew. I don't know how close Boxer and Violet were, but I am guessing his diagnosis hit close to home with boxer having already lost someone to the disease.

Don't forget that the SC2 team Incredible Miracle also held (or is holding) a blood drive for Violet as well.
So, Violet is literally going to be infused with the blood of the best of Starcraft, both BW and SC2. We cannot fathom the monstrous bonjwa that will result.
Glad to see the entire e-sports community transcend the drama and come together to help their fellow comrade fight this dreaded disease. Even if Violet doesn't need all the donated blood, at least it will go to others in need of it.
