ie. SKT1 wins are 50% Protoss, 36% Zerg, 14% Terran from their players.

It's not about the races, it's about the players. Please see this thread for the team balance calculation.

I still think the "team balance" statistic is kind of dubious though. Hmm, it also makes it easy to see the breadth of players that are being sent out. STX is sending out largest variety of players (10)...too bad 3 of them are winless, so it's not really helping. MBC with the least, sending out only 6 different players...only 2 of them with winning records, what a tragedy.

Unfortunately a team with no wins whatsoever would qualify as a "deep" team this way, although it is just in deep trouble.

From top-4 teams there are 3 toss oriented + Stars with strong zerg lineup (with Free and Really they are all races around actually). P-teams followed by terran-oriented teams which are on 5, 6 and 7 places Khan is full of slumping tosses so they on 8. JaedongOZ and Ace are too specific and should be excluded from analyze. Conclusion: Tosses are imba. Zergs doing fine. Flash and Turn - last terrans standing. Black days for T players T_T
