One thing that took me forever to figure out was that Blizzard had the foresight to make most zerg units related to each other.
In the wireframe view all zerg units spawned from larva share very similar traits in their head design that still meshes with the diverse look of their heads in portrait view.

Nose should be renamed to mouth. The teeth is just his chin. IMO, But after being wrong in so many cases I'm just not sure at all.

I don't know about you guys, but for the longest time I've seen the Scout as some kind of cow thingy.The shadow on the top of the head look like horns and the color looks like that of a cow's face.
