Young people call older men by that word, like Mike hyung etc. It means "older brother" and is used to show respect to the person you're talking about. If talking to/about a woman this word is replaced by "nuna". Also the older person might use the word "dong seng" when talking to the younger person which means "younger sister/brother". edit: sick posting pace. | ||
