He's the gatekeeper between good and great, capable of destroying average players, but struggling against the great players of his time. Leta's style can be really flamboyant at times, but realistically he might not even be as good as Sea, Kal, or other team aces. not to mention the eye-hacking

It was a TvT match played a year or two ago, when Leta was tearing it up. He was playing against one of the (other) top Terran players (maybe Flash) and it was destined to a good match. Leta fought hard and the two struggled on, neither gaining a large enough advantage to win it. It turned into one of those long TvT games. The point in the game where it came down to Battlecruisers vs Battlecruisers. The two armies eventually collided and a flash of Yamato Cannon blasts left Leta's forces completely gone. With the large Battlecruiser fleet heading into his main, Leta did the only thing he could; typed in GG. Now, Leta played very well. It was a great game, and an important one. Was he upset at losing? If he was, I sure couldn't tell. The cameras panned to his face after he gg'd. He sat there staring at his screen, his mouth cracked slightly open into a smile. In this moment I could tell exactly what Leta was thinking. His expression spoke to me in a voice reminiscent of Beavis and Butthead. It said: "Heh heh heh, Battlecruisers are cool."

That made me think: Leta is the David Janowski of Starcraft. Janowski was one of the world's best chess players in the early 20th century. According to Wikipedia, he was top 6 in the world in his prime. He had a very flamboyant style; he was especially known for his two-port bishop play, which could be not only flashy, but, in his hands, very dangerous. (Here's an example.) He had + scores against some of the best players in the world, but the S-class destroyed him (his score against Lasker: 4-25-7; against Capablanca 1-9-1).

It was nicely written! I was a fan of Leta for awhile, especially when he started to become really strong (think summer 08 PL season). EDIT: That was a huge boost of confidence: over three next months, Leta scored victories against Light, Kal (twice), Bisu, sAviOr,fOrGG and BeSt, suddenly catapulting himself into elite of Terran players. yeah it was this time when he caught my attention. Especially the second game vs Kal - EPIC!
