I always get the feeling like July just isn't into playing on the A team anymore, he still does okay when he plays but he never appears in the lineups when hes on the roster and active. He went 13-6 in pl last season and did fine in WL, and just disappeared from the lineup this season.

Anyone else get the feeling July has already applied to go into ACE or is leaning in that direction but the news hasn't gotten out yet? Why else would they drop him off the A-Team roster now after already keeping him on the roster for almost a year without using him?

I got the idea that Upmagic was disgruntled about something. Admittedly, I don't remember exactly why, but he gave some weird interviews (also sometimes he would refuse interviews), and it felt like something might be wrong there.

I do not understand why eStro removed upmagic and sangho. Yes, they aren't the greatest players, but they could take a win here and there. They're a-team looks more predictable now; I think their proleague regulars will pretty much be really/action/hyvaa/flying only. Maybe some b-teamer will step it up?

I'm sad at the loss of UpMagic, July, SangHo and Luxury as much as anyone else, but for eStro I think it could actually turn out to be a good move. Proleague Really is a beast as we all know, and Action has been showing that he deserves more game time especially due to the performances he's handed in when called upon (all killing woongjin, anyone?).
Gosl Flying has shown a lot of potential and clearly, estro may be trying to give him more game time to mould him to become their first-line protoss. Well and hyvaa can take games off anyone so this could be a really solid team if it all works out. That is a very big if, but it is a required move IMO as Upmagic has lost a lot of form as of late and SangHo just isn't what eStro is looking for in a first-line protoss.
eStro fans have more reason to be excited for the round ahead than disappointment, in my opinion.

Upmagic getting B team'd is a shame, but I don't really see what people are saying about eSTRO's lineup lacking (any more than usual anyways)
 Really- was dominating a few months back, and is still a really high level terran, although he's been playing atrociously in individual leagues.
 Action- a solid zerg, has been getting a lot of wins (especially ZvZ) lately
hyvaa- He's pretty inconsistent, but he's been putting up some high level wins lately (Flash, Leta)
 Flying- Got some stylish wins in R2 (If I'm not mistaken), although I don't know much about his results as of late

I've always wondered why he hasn't gotten played more when his only 2 proleague games have been wins. It seems to me that even if he isn't as good in practice, he's earned the opportunity to get played again when he wins his only 2 games he's been sent out to play, especially when his stiffest competition is HyuN.

Look I love UpMaGiC. He's been one of my favourite players for a long time. I even put him (and kept him) on my FPL team for each of the 2 seasons ive played. But when looking at stats for 5 hours picking my team this time around, he has recently gone from that 49-51% winning player to alot lower. Like it looked like 40%ish... all his mu ratios have dropped.
And SangHo has been equally unspectacular. Neither he nor UpMaGiC even barely played during WL.
Thirdly, who knows how they have been performing (or under performing in practice these last few months as well). Also think about that the other way around - maybe some of these new players have been showing heaps of promise?
Only question I'll agree with, at least to the extent I'm puzzled, is whether this leaves the eSTRO A-team a bit sparse. But time will tell
Sad to see July go I guess he's probably been showing some poor results recently in practice too. Hopefully he comes back like sAviOr has in the past.

I suspect it's more likely because Coach Ha wants to give the young Revival a chance. Gotta introduce a fresh face to the roster every now and then, so naturally a lower profile veteran will lose his place.

July said in his interview that he didn't perform that good in the intra-team ranking matches. STX is a team with many talents, and their zerg lineup is pretty good without July. But July is like an iconic figure in STX... maybe he trying to beat noobs in the B-team to regain confidence.

Yes, we don't know but it is very suggestive isn't it. The changes in PL, big changes in proleague rosters. Also, their names were leaked before. Just would seem as a huge coincident. I would love for all this to be just coincident but too be honest it all seems to suspicious.
All I hope that Stork, Jaedong and Bisu weren't really involved in it even though they are also under scrutiny...

A list of guilty players better be released later on, if only to definitively clear the names of the innocent (same with the affected matches).
