2003-2006 154 wins - 100 losses (60.63%) Best Streak: 11 wins Worst Streak: 7 losses
2007-2008 33 wins - 43 losses (43.42%) Best Streak: 5 wins Worst Streak: 9 losses
So 4-5 years or so of quality play is what you call a short duration? If that's the case, then 95% of progamers play for a "short" time.
And no, there's no ETA yet.

I am no math man, but 2003-2006 doesn't add up to 4 or 5. It is at the most 4, and only if he still kicked ass until midnight on new years eve in 2006 or you count inclusively which we stopped doing 2000 years ago.... It's a span, 3-6 of three years, and compared to the unarguably "long" careered players like Hwasin, Boxer or the extreme example Nada, 3 years is pretty short.
just sayin

Somewhere from 2004 to 2005, there was a period when Nal_ra was just plain BAD. But gotta give the man credit, he came back BIG in 2006

It doesn't really matter much but for the sake of clarity, I think he just spent his post explaining how it wasn't inclusive.
Ra is awesome, I didn't realize the length of his career was such a touchy subject.....

It's because your sense of "long" makes no sense. By your standards, who has had a long career?

Stork - 5 yrs and still going. GJ!! Hwasin - 6 and still going . Yahoooooooooooooooooooo Nada - fell out of top 30 in like.. 2009? that's 8 yrs Midas - 7 years and now doing well once more Boxer - like...9 years before finally becoming obsolete? That might be a bit generous July - about 6 yrs Sea - in his 5th year and arguably in his prime...
Lots of hate. Don't hate. : ( I just came in here for the

Stork - played like shit his first few years Hwasin - has he ever got past Ro16 yet? Nada - slumps hardcore often, he wasn't good for 8 years straight. KesPa rank just let him stay on top cause of prior achievements Midas - he's been doing "well" for like half a month, after a couple years of doing nothing Boxer - stopped being good at the game after like 2005, influence is a different matter July - again, nowhere close to a continuous career
Nal Ra's career is exactly the same as the average career of a top player.
