Nal Ra's qualifying games? Dunno if they do it in a future oldboy ep. Just throwing it out there Edit: Actually, I'm satisfied with knowing if there are any interesting bits said about nal_ra during the games.

+ Show Spoiler + He loses game after game even though he could have easily won all of them. He eats his precious ducks. He's upset about the match fixing. I hope Ep11 is more cheerful ![]()

DURING the games they were just commentating about the things that were going on in the game. Like in game 1 they were talking about Nal_Ra's inability to deal with the vulture harrass which caused him to lose the game because of it and how sad it is from a fan's perspective to see nal_ra go out like that. It really shows the difference from today's progamers compared to the old. In game 2 they were really on nal_ra's side lol(well um jae gyung was)and he really wanted him to kill that first tank and he wouldve had a chance to but his zealot wasnt with his 4 dragoons :/. But yea mostly talked about nal_ra's inability to deal with harrass but complimented on his game preparations early game like in game 2 when he blocked the ramp with one zeal and the bridge outside his nat with 4 goons not showing the terran whether or not he had his natural expansion(to make him think of the possiblityy of dts or reaver). Hope this helped.

There is a lot of individual pride and it is a culture of self-worth. You call your boss by his first name because even though he is of superior rank, you still consider yourself his equal on a human level. Only in the face of overwhelming superiority (like you facing the President or a judge) would you use a more formal tone of address. -cut- I guess it's just that in Korea, age draws a very distinct line between people and generally it must be respected. It's not that we "hate" being called by our personal names, but it's ingrained into us that that is something that can only be done by your elders or by your equals (your friends who are the same age as you). Everything else has a proper title/rank and it's more civil to use those titles. If I know someone's name I will always address him by his first name, unless I'm not that familiar with them yet, such as a professor on the university that I havent met, a stranger, etcetera. In all those cases it is 'meneer/mevrouw' which is 'mister/miss'. I have never used the words mom and dad, always their first names. From your perspective that must be really weird, but for me it is the most natural thing, it is as if calling my dad by saying 'dad' feels awkward because I'm not addressing him in person but more by his "function" or "position in the family". Ive heard/read it isn't uncommon in the Netherlands that families 'work' this way. As for strangers, any person that is clearly my age (possibily even 5 years olders as long as they have the same "job" or "level" like study) or younger, I will use the informal 'you' ("je") and any person older or with a different job or position I will address them indirectly ("meneer") or formally ("u"). Something else I heard and didn't experience myself yet is that in different countries the professors/doctors on a university are (nearly) always addressed by their title and that they find it odd that in the Netherlands we, 'mere students', speak with them informally and casually. And it isnt just the student being informal, recently a professor just vacantly slipped out "kut" (= 'cunt', which means in this context "damn it") while I was in his direct vicinity (fyi a program on windows crashed haha). Basically the whole conversation level is on an equal level, despite that he has numerous publications and several board positions. More ontopic: I hope more will come, but Nal_Ra getting conscripted... ![]()
