Spoiler Alert!!!
+ Show Spoiler + Korean Air OSL Ro36 Group H Winner: go.go “I’m the man who beat Bisu”Q: How do you feel about advancing to Ro16 for 3 times in a row? A: I wondered who would get paired up with Bisu in Ro36 for this OSL and I talked about how unlucky that person is, but my manager told me that I was the one. When I heard that, I lost all my motivation to practice. Because I thought of Bisu as that strong of a player, I’m even happier that I was able to advance after beating such opponent. Q: You haven’t been doing well recently A: At first, merely practicing was burdening enough, but my win rate for the set 1 map was really good, so I thought I had a chance. I was going to BBS for set 3 for lack of preparation, but YellOw[ArnC] told me never to do an all-in build for the last set, so I used the build that I was the most confident in. Q: Were you confident in game 1? A: While analyzing VODs, when Bisu meets a player of my skill level, he always plays safely. As a result, I completely excluded the possibilities of Dark Templars and proxy plays from my thoughts. I think it worked out well because Bisu did what I wanted him to do. However, when I Command Center rushed in practice, I lost in a comeback, so I couldn’t do it and also, I can’t bring myself to do it to close players anymore. Q: You lost to macro in set 2 A: During practice, I lost 9 out of 10 games in that fashion. If I had lost game 1, I would have played differently, but because I won, I decided to do what I practiced, and of course, lost. Q: 3rd game was close A: I predicted his build in game 3 as well. Because I couldn’t practice a lot in that map, I thought I should end it early, but I ended up playing more cautiously than I normally do. When I just surrounded the Reaver with my SCVs thinking “whatever”, I was able to kill it and it was such a thrilling feeling, so I thought I won at that point. Q: You seem to advance to Ro16 well. Any goals? A: I played thinking this would be the last game for this season. I practiced even harder because it was OSL, and although I thought I was unlucky to play Bisu, I think I was really lucky. I was usually satisfied with Ro16, but I really want to advance past Ro4 this time. Q: Anything else? A: I thank the fans for cheering me and my coach for giving me advices. Also, I want to tell our Protoss players that I’m the man who beat Bisu (laughs).

I'm the man who beat Bisu...gahhhhh he's so full of himself.

not the player i wanted to be interviewed. T_T Thanks again for the speed translations.

Huh? I was hoping he'd explain his build. But I still don't get it. If he wanted to push off of two bases, he should've just gone all-in FBH style. I thought he was doing some gay MnM cheese the way he massed turrets.

But when Bisu or Jaedong make a comment like that, they're fuckin badass right? If anything this interview was humble and shows he doesn't think that much of himself as a player.
|
he's praising bisu a lot, i don't think he's full of himself but the other way around)
|
|
However, when I Command Center rushed in practice, I lost in a comeback, so I couldn’t do it and also, I can’t bring myself to do it to close players anymore.
But didn't he triple CC? What is he talking about here?

Flash and Jaedong would both say that they practiced hard and they're glad they won.

I would be too if I beat Bisu.

funnily enough, leta knocked out flash in last set in the lost saga MSL with a BBS

go.go won the mindgames - simple as that. He predicted bisu's builds and raped them
Bisu needs to mix it up even against 'weaker' players - if they can assume that Bisu won't go DTs or proxies, they can play so much more greedily - like go.go did game 1.
Thanks for the translation.

You tell 'em go.go!
And bisu fails to qualify for yet another OSL, lmao!

kind of funny how he's like "not using all-in in the 3rd set because of yarnc" but he did a 2 fac, which is essentially all-in. the fact that he thinks its standard really speaks to how fucking terrible he is.
still, shame on bisu. qqqqqqq
|
go.go played a hell of a game. Bisu's early aggression failed hard in set 1 and 2. If he would have opted to go for a safer style driving the game into late-game, he probably could have taken it. go.go's expanding in set 1 was sick!!! 5 bases!
|
godfucking dammit bisu.
i really didnt want to see go.go in this osl
|
Even though I'm not really a Bisu fan at all, you've gotta feel for the guy...
And a big hug to all the Bisu fans out there. This Stork fan feels your pain.
|
go.go, you baller
I love seeing Bisu getting denied from every OSL
|
I was pretty impressed with Go.go's play He did a good job!
|
So annoyed at myself... Bisu always chokes; I knew this when I chose my liquibet and yet I still picked him. "He's the better player", I told myself...
|
His tought process for game 1 was brilliant. Knowing bisu wouldn't cheese he did cc, fact, cc, armory, starport, etc... greediest shit ever.
|
go.go play was so awesome today especially in 1st and 3rd clutch game .
Bisu was such a disapointment i was hating Bisu so much before but its sad now he is falling to some "bad" players all the time....
|
|
Sorry go.go, never should've doubted your Bisu slaying skeelz.
+ Show Spoiler +Knock it off Bisu fans, game one was like Movie vs Flash on HBR, except Bisu couldn't turn it around, he was strategicly raped

undeserving

How is 2 fact essentially all-in? It's a standard 1 base play that with enough dmg/a contain can transition into relatively standard play whilst also having the opportunity to win/lose outright. 3 factory is all-in, 2 is not.
|
|
Go.go's got Bisu's number in the OSL. That deep six game in Bacchus 09 still warms my heart when I think of it.

Pull out of your slump Bisu

If we picked players based on who was "better" than the field would be the exact same every year and we might as well just jump straight to the ro8. Hell lets just go to the ro4, or maybe just the title game since we know Jaedong and Flash are the best two players in the world just let them auto-move to the finals and lets have a bo9.
Who is "better" is determined in the game. Something bisu has not been proving he is of late.

I heard somewhere that Bisu and go.go are actually really good friends. Last time go.go knocked Bisu out of the Bacchus OSL with his Deep Six they were hugging and chatting like buddies in the back after the game was over even though Bisu just got eliminated.

Bisu wasn't eliminated after he had lost to go.go
|
I'm pretty sure Bisu was eliminated because he lost to go.go. Not all of his losses were from go.go but it was the one from go.go that sealed the deal.
go.go>Bisu means I can revive this pic

haha thanks for the interview. love how the saga of bisu failing to qualify for OSL is continuing

It was when Go.Go beat Hwasin on HBR is when Bisu was finally eliminated from that OSL.

So true.

Maybe odd to say, but I just got more interested in go.go as a player. He seems fun enough.
|
|
|
go.go is a a legit dude, praising bisu while also talking himself up! I love darkhorses/upsets, especially when they're sweet, like go.go XP
|
dammit bisu, you have fantasy to practice against
go.go has tazza, horang, and herb
Edit: And spend less time hugging your opponent and more time thinking about how to make him cry.

Fun fact: go.go is only 37% vs Protoss, but now 3-1 in games against Bisu and has knocked him out of the last two OSLs. Seriously, what is this?
|
second time.. again
-sigh- Bisu is cursed by the OSL gods
|
No such thing as "deserves," jackasses: there is only win and lose.
|
poor bisu. seems destined to be a great player that never picked up an OSL win
|
doesn't go.go look a lot like hiya?
|
no go,go looks like a bug. Hiya looks like magikarp
|
2 fact is still kinda all-in if you ask me. Poor Bisu

gogogogo? It'd be nice if gogo makes it past ro16 and makes something of this OSL. If he avoids good Ps.. and Zs.. and Ts.. he has a shot.
|
Assuming all the things he said are true, go.go actually did a pretty good job preparing for the match =) I think he kind of deserved it after all.
+ Show Spoiler +
+ Show Spoiler +Nah actually Bisu's play has been consistently sloppy. He's just a shadow of his former self. I'm not saying he won't recover (praying to God he will!). But as of this moment, he isn't much better than go.go, or any at all :/ The truth hurts.
|
Usually I dislike go.go due to an incident long time ago when he abuse an SCV glitch to get up a ramp, but this win is incredibly deserving. Go.go seemed like he was completely dead game 3 then somehow he won! Despite beating Bisu, go.go constantly praise Bisu through out the interview.
Also Bisu is not slumping. I hate that term being used in these situation. Bisu is not playing worse, his opponents are playing better! Go.go predicted Bisu's build and won. The better strategy won.
