mondragon maybe even played before NaDa did, here it says he started to play in '98. I only remember him winning some 64 player tournament in '00/'01 against AoT)robkill( (who later went to [pG]) In these early days he was good, but there were a lot of other skilled german players. I dont really remember all of them, Kosh, Korn, kalas(c?)hni, fisheye, mmmbop...... fisheye f.e. qualified for the WCG 2001, 2002, 2003 but Mondragon did not.If you look at his overall WCG performance, he was not better than FisheYe (second 2003), Testie, Draco (both taking a game off of a pro gamer: link) blackman, Elky..... He placed third in 2007 and beat savior yes but as i said, it's nothing special. If you look at his gosugamers.net profile you can see that he won a lot of toruneys with huge price money: - SEC 2005 against Advocate i think (cant find results sry) for 5000€ - both GIGA.de grandslams (2k each afair, but these were national tourneys) - GGL America Cup. He placed second at the TANL3 (losing 2-5 to draco.. xD) He was knocked out in the first TSL by dreiven in the RO16 but was #1 on the ladder (hello Wuthering Heights lolol) In the ESL Major Series he was knocked by Idra both times, in Season IV and Season V. He is a really good 2on2 player, finishing #1 2v2 on WGTour 2 times: in season 3 with Lazer (he was also #3 1v1), in season 7with testie. Apparently in season 9 he was #1 1v1, but I don't know that for sure. And now he is in the finals of the biggest foreigner tournament so far, winning $5k at least (sure he had quite an easy bracket but still) So, that are a lot of accomplishments. But you cant compare that to NaDa who has won the biggest tournament in the WORLD 3 times (the OSL obv), getting the Golden mouse in the process, the KPGA tour 3 times and placed second in 2 MSLs and one OSL. that is teh shit. being in the kespa top 30 for 6 years or what, hello??? €: i mean even if mondi was top 30 on the gosugamers power rank for 6 consecutive years, so what. Comparing him with NaDa is like saying Michael Ballack is the german Zinedine Zidane. they are both good but there is a difference! | ||
