Mondragon has certainly been a top ranked foreigner for a while, but I haven't seen dominance in mondragon as I have seen in Nada.

Jaedong has almost caught up NaDa: he has 3 OSLs and 2 MSLs in his pocket. One more victory and NaDa will be overshadowed.

Nada did it first, can jaedong do that? no.

thats one thing jaedong will never have

I think doing it first has no importance. ;p

I thought my dragon was not a korean scene?

doing it first isnt what matters but just take a look at the fact how long NaDa dominated. How long he was around there..

I highly doubt anyone will ever be as successful as NaDa ..
Actually I dont know what a person has to do to be more successful than him..
Would winning 1 more osl or 1 more msl than NaDa mean he is more accomplished ? Maybe ..

Mondi isnt the NaDa of the foreign scene

There is no single player you can compare to NaDa from the foreigner scene.. Because 1) No one dominated as much and put up such consistent results..

Reason being: There were never as many tournaments and as many money on the line as in korea..

Dont compare em..
u kinda really cant..

Gosh they are so different that the comparison doesn't really makes sense. I think that in a way Mondragon is almost bigger to the foreigner scene than Nada to the Korean scene.

Gotta get flamed hard for this.

but again its because there are so many amazing pros in korea and NaDa is such an oldschooler an since he retired and faded away so many new amazing players rose up..

foreigners.. its just a few who did amazing for a certain time and then there are players like Mondi who did amazing basicaly for ever and never really went of the radar..

If Mondi wins the TSL he will be top 5 all time foreigner behind Grrr, Slayer, Elky for being consistent during such a long period ( 2004-2010 best foreign zerg ).

Mmm about Nada i guess he is already in the top 5 all time Koreans

he could become the first to get 7 individual titles though.

I agree that Jaedong wont become the successful player with his 6th title yet though.
Nada was strong for a longer period of time, also Jaedong was never a bonjwa.
But I think there's still enough time for Jaedong before bw dies.

I think the options for voting are bad. Mondragon is Mondragon. Nada is not as consistent.

I think mondragon lasts longer than both Nada and Julyzerg.

So if anything, it should be the other way around.

Why would you give him a nickname after another fucking player? Let alone Terran. Plus, NaDa isn't even consistent. He has spells.

This has stupidity written all over it.

I think few here actually know that Mondragon competed with top german players back in 2001, winning the so called VIP tournaments 1 and 2. (the 3rd one was won by Fisheye, who was considered the best german player back then).

He was like 14 back then, clearly being the "Koll" of these days. Many people in the german starcraft scene wondered how someone that young could be that good
