So could someone explain the group format to me? I assume it's an elimination format in each group with the first player in each group getting a bye?

I've always been skeptical about Idra's chances in any given prelim, but I would contend that he has a legitimate shot here. Don't be fooled. HyuN is bad. I mean, he's seriously bad. Don't look at his TLPD stats, watch his games (minus the one vs Flash). If Idra is on his game he can catch HyuN with his pants down, and provided every thing else goes swimmingly, firebathero will be the chokeasaurus he always is and drop the ball.
