▶ Bisu - Jaedong wins 3:1

I predict Jaedong will win 3:1. If I had to predict how the scores will work, then I will have to say Flash will take Match Point then Jaedong will win the next 3. Jaedong's LWWW will play out here.

Alot of people say Jaedong's greatest strength is his ZvP, but in my mind he is known to be as a great ZvT player. There are very few zergs who have a fighting chance against Flash and one of those Zergs would be Jaedong.

Flash may be on fire, but look at his schedule right now. He just had his OSL finals, a proleague match and now an MSL final. I don't think Flash can be more prepared than Jaedong who had time and that is the greatest strength Jaedong has over Flash.

▶ Stork - Flash wins MSL

Flash will win because he is just so unstoppable right now. The force started at OSL RO8 and I believe it will continue to the MSL finals.

Bisu said that it will be difficult for Flash to keep up, but I've known Flash for a while and Flash is a player who does ALOT of thinking. Also KT took Flash off the proleague entry list last time so I don't think Flash had trouble preparing for this finals at all. Not to mention I heard rumors that whenever Jaedong and Flash practice, Flash ends up winning most of the games now. And not to mention, the only time Jaedong got a Silver medal was against a Terran player. Everything points towards Flash in my opinion so I think he will win.

I helped Flash with his OSL final and let me tell you something; this isn't the same Flash I knew long ago. There was something different about Flash this time... Long time ago when Jaedong beat me to win his first OSL, I remember Jaedong saying "I practiced so hard my fingers almost broke. I felt it from Jaedong that time and this time I was getting the same vibe from Flash. I also heard that Flash's keyboard hand (left hand) got blisters and kept bleeding during practice because he stretched it too far (this is actually true, it was a huge issue in Korea for a while >.> )

It's been only a week since Flash won OSL, but I think Flash's current state is too strong to overlook.

Soon to come:

(T)HiyA's Prediction
▲ Jaedong will win with a score of 3:0, maybe a 3:1. I watched Jaedong practice for this series and he's practicing really hard.

I think Stork is right and Flash will own JD; and because Bisu pointed out statistics while Stork actually knows whats what between players.

As stork has far more insight on Flashs current status I'd say: Flash is going to win easily...

Always refreshing to hear what stork has to say. Very insightful opinions. He's building up towards a nal_ra-esque iconic status of sorts imo.

Anyway. Flash seems sick, and he'll win. Thanks for translating MrHoon.

I think that is a very bad idea. I have heard of pianists who practice equally much and end up getting their hands completely destroyed/paralyzed.
"To all eSports fans, I want to be remembered as a progamer who can make something out of nothing, and someone who always does his best. I think that is the right way of living, and I'm always doing my best to follow that." - Jaedong. /watch?v=jfghAzJqAp0

Grrrrrr........ Bisu, and Stork. Stop predicting the finals when you two should be playing in them. We and by we I mean zerg fans (And by zerg fans what I really mean is Jaedong fans), need a dragon slayer slayer right about now.

hahaha :D. Though nerves won't play a role for either player, who are both veterans to pressure.

Nice to hear romad. Personally I don't want Flash taking both titles, though I have nothing against him. I wonder who Jaedong is practicing with if Flash is practicing w/ one of the other top zergs. Hopefully not Hiya or the Epsilon squadron.

Doubt that he practiced with Jaedong, though. And his ZvZ was very bad, even in practice. And Effort is showing good results on TV, it's not that he is considered as one of the "bonjwa in practice, but chobo on TV" guys.

I don't know if the specific statistic of 65% winrate is true, but it's common knowledge that magma was extremely good in practice (one of the best), especially relative to his TV game performance.

I heard that he had ~50% winrate vs FlaSh. Haven't heard anything about 65 and Jaedong. And why does it matter anyway?

"I helped Flash with his OSL final and let me tell you something; this isn't the same Flash I knew long ago. There was something different about Flash this time... Long time ago when Jaedong beat me to win his first OSL, I remember Jaedong saying "I practiced so hard my fingers almost broke. I felt it from Jaedong that time and this time I was getting the same vibe from Flash. I also heard that Flash's keyboard hand (left hand) got blisters and kept bleeding during practice because he stretched it too far"

Most insightful comment I've read about Flash's current state. Too bad no one seems to have any similar analysis to give about Jaedong.

Nono. I reckon the only mention of Magam beeing a practice hero is from Incontrol in a replay comment he posted there of a replay of Magma vs Bisu on bluestorm where Bisu got pwned.

Inc said that Magam was rumoured to be an online practice hero.

That's it i think?

Maybe he extrapolated from that.

Glad to hear Effort playing well. In my opinion Effort plays the best late game ZvT of anyone so this shouldn't come as a huge surprise.

I'm actually kind of interested in who JD is practicing with. Don't think any Terran can play a Flash style nearly to Flash's level, maybe Really can be a "poor man's Flash" or something?

Effort on the other hand is near JD's ZvT level - interesting to hear that he's helping Flash (partly to his own practice benefit of course) indeed.

yeah and I bet Flash won "many" games too. That's kind of a vague statement. Did Miso specifically say that Effort won more games than Flash did or is he just impressed that Effort's awesome enough to take down Flash at all?

Flash may be on fire, but look at his schedule right now. He just had his OSL finals, a proleague match and now an MSL final. I don't think Flash can be more prepared than Jaedong who had time and that is the greatest strength Jaedong has over Flash.

Bisu is so right, Flash has such a heavier schedule than JD and that is JD's biggest advantage. I wonder if that will hinder Flash or maybe it won't affect him at all.

you guys all forget during saviors reign, his fucking peak, he was INVINCIBLE.

you enter watching a match, knowing that your liquibet is 100% safe, that savior will pull through ANY BoX he encounters.

after that epic final ( well epic rape by savior ) everyone was thinking, wow, savior is unstoppable, he is a force of nature, he is the fucking maestro, no way he can be taken down.

and wah lah~ via history we know it just aint true.

i predict jaedong 3-1.
jaedong will have something hidden up his sleeve (maybe double muta groups?)
but dont expect him to go down without a fight!

Not to mention I heard rumors that whenever Jaedong and Flash practice, Flash ends up winning most of the games now.

As a JD fan, kinda hurts to know that..

Doubt that he practiced with Jaedong, though. And his ZvZ was very bad, even in practice.

Its been said heaps before that magma was insanely good in pratice games, having about a 65% winrate vs both JD and Flash

Who told you that? I am gonna ask FancY about that later.

Since i've been on tl the rumor that Mamga was a beast has been thrown around heaps, it was said alot when he qualified into the msl a few seasons ago. In the group selections alot of the players said that magma was really good in pratice

Who told you about the winrate %?

The same people that have told me magma owns offline, if you read as much tl as i do you pick up on these things

I heard that he had ~50% winrate vs FlaSh. Haven't heard anything about 65 and Jaedong. And why does it matter anyway?

You reckon wrong then

Have some progamer friends and flash and effort are both in the same game, and i've followed flash's date of win
I've been asking everybody if they know who Jaedong practices with and so far i've learned that neither Sea nor Mind, nor Leta practice with him

I think the reason Jaedong is so good is because he gets confidence from his practice. Flash may be practicing with Effort, but he probably drops a few games and then is unsure about how he will do against Jaedong. Meanwhile Jaedong wins EVERY SINGLE practice game against the likes of Lomo and then goes into the finals ready to kick some ass.

I that that strategy wise, Jaedong will probably play 12 pool every game until he sees flash cheese him, because frankly, Flash probably doesn't have enough time to prepare long term games for all 5. Given that, Jaedong will probably win because he would win one on Flash's cheese, and be up at least one.

i know viola, but i literally put the w consanent instead of the weaker v sound.
i dont know thats just me.
i just hate viola, that soft v just annoys me lol.

jaedong will crush flash though, that i am willing into existence lol.

on a side note, how the FUCK does jaedong do so well when he mostly practices with his teammates?

If he is bleeding while playing his fingers will slip off the keys... JD will smell the blood and take this chance to rape 3-1.
