I come from the future to say that both of these things ended up disappointing.

Players on pro teams, even at B-level, are "pro" players. Many of the participants in Courage are semi-professional players.

I guess different people have different views of semi-professionalism but Courage league is what is supposed to give you the progamer license and thus if the players playing it aren't semi-pros then do those even exist? I guess you could say that courage alone does not make one professional but you need to be part of a team as well. B-teamers are no doubt progamers as stated above.

Courage is a tournament that is held only for people who're amateurs or a trainee. If you win courage = you become a semi-pro gamer. If you get drafted by a team = you become pro gamer. People training with the B team doesn't automatically make them semi-pro if they don't have a license, they're trainee's.

Ret clearly has the foreign world's best ZvZ atm, and all learned in just a few months. He has nothing to fear in the TSL, save IdrA in the finals.

People training with the B team doesn't automatically make them semi-pro if they don't have a license, they're trainee's. These are the correct definitions. If you win courage and you're not on a team, you get your license and wait for a draft (happen twice a year). During this waiting period, you're a semi-pro. These semi-pros definitely have some skill for winning courage, but they've probably also played a bunch of tryouts with teams and (obviously) didn't pass any. So it's kinda weird. They got one good result but their play doesn't seem promising to coaches. And they get 0 pay. They're licensed but unemployed.

A semi pro in korea means a person who won courage and got the progaming license but isnt drafted in a team yet. It doesnt matter what the actual word means because thats what the term stands for in korea. So in other words theres not a single semi pro in courage because they would have no reason to play in courage.
